When is a nude beach not a nude beach?

March 15 2013

Well i thought I'd lose my inhibitions and give the nude beach a go and bear all. Looked up the local which is Birdie beach, packed my towel and sunscreen. I get down to the beach and the few people there are fully clothed. I thought wtf. Does anyone know if there's a designated spot for nudists or was i just unlucky. Either way, my clothes stayed on. Guess I'll have to try again some other time.

I live near there, did you go to the Northern end? there is a sign there saying "Unclad area" and believe me they are all unclad!! Unless they're just arriving or going of course! There are small sandhills, and bush area where couples can go play. If you went during the week it may be quieter i guess..

Yep I agree with ding26.... I too live close by If you go to the furthest left of carpark and enter the beach from there you will see the sign. Once on the beach its the same deal go left and you should be rite!

We're in the area and love the fact it's a beach that is well known, it is a clothes free environment, as ding26 said you go north, there's two tracks to the front beach, one has a sign along the way stating unclad beach. People r allowed wear what they want, so if there buttoned up, who cares, do what you want to do, birdie beach is unique, one of the rear places in Aus spot with a delightful unwritten law-----"what happens at the beach stays at the beach", u can visit, stay as long as u want inside the park rules, buy a ticket or get a park pass online it will save u a $300 fine. Experience every type of naturalist activity you and your partner want, or any & every type of sexual experience you look for on the day, there's a great mix of drop in pervs to regulars, cpls, singles & groups, people who love to have a chat, others keep to themselves. There's a stronge gay culture as well as a stronge straight/bi and whatever else people r into there too. Plus the place is lovely, sand dunes to the rock pools. Top joint to recharge the batteries

Quoting 'Blindman67' $300 fine..From WA. This beach must have some thing good to get a cash, well not directly. Fine for what??? WTF... I don't know shit, tell me.. eeech Its in the National Park, so you need to buy a ticket for the day for parking ( when the machines are workiing) if you dont have one displayed, you may get fined if the Ranger comes around...I presume the fine is $300

Bride beach is inside a national park. If you park anywhere inside the park without first purchasing an annual pass or a day ticket and a ranger spots your car without your ticket displayed on the dash you will cop a $300 dollar fine. It's a fact as of the start of this year or maybe a bit befor.
