I really like where I’m at in life right now so I don’t have much I’d change...I should probably change jobs in order to look after my health a little better but as it turns out we (my sons and I) might be going into business with someone so I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing for now and see how that goes. One thing I’ve learned is that my plans don’t tend to mean much, fate will have its way with me regardless and I’m much more at peace with that these days.

1. Try and pursue further opportunities in songwriting ideally leading to an additional income; 2. Pursue additional work from home and self employment opportunities to ultimately, in the long term, reduce existing work burnout (includes the above, but also other completely seperate ideas); 3. Make a new intimate connection of some type. Basically, the same goals as the previous few years haha

Travel the east coast researching my family ancestry at a local level. Then combine a decade of research into a book. Keep building on my endurance swimming. So perhaps go into the Rottnest swim one year.

A lot of people don't go for new years resolutions but I've always found them a great kick start to the year. I guess mine are: 1) Focus on forming good quality human connections. Hopefully the sexy kind but by no means limited to that. 2) workin on my fitness! Woo! Good luck to you all and I hope you smash 2023!

I (Mrs) have a few things I would like to achieve, but my main ones are: 1) Write a book about my abusive childhood. I want to bring closure to it. 2) Move house, to be closer to family. 3) Learn to swim. Yes, I really can’t swim.

I'm going to aim to be Mr 10-15% this year. Yes I know only one of these can be quantified, 10-15% is a vibe for me, I'll know it when I see it. 1) Improve emotional intelligence 10-15% 2) Increase income by 10-15% (I'd rather fuck inflation than have it fuck me) 3) Improve diet and exercise habits 10-15%

I’m at a point right now where I don’t want to achieve anything. I’ve ‘achieved’ a lot no doubt and I receive the benefits of those regularly. In 2022 I earned the most money I ever have, I regained my body and peak sexual drive, bought and renovated a home, I improved friendships and gained new ones, I took on a leadership role (two at one point), I helped save some lives, I danced and sang my hardest with my family and spent every moment I could with them. Now I’m just tired. And at least at this point I feel I don’t have any more to give. My 2023 resolution is to work on letting go. I’ve been practising mindfulness meditation for some time and it’s all about focusing my attention on the moment. Now I’d like to ‘be’. Practising a sort of radical openness.

The direction I'm heading toward is a two-year plan. Moving but more than likely staying in the municipality I've been living in for years or maybe one of the surrounding areas. Love this part of Melbourne. Whilst I can't go completely off-grid there are those that have and they are completely self-reliant and independent of utility companies as well as any alternatives e.g. solar. It's been interesting and informative to watch videos and read about the lived experiences of those that have shared their journey. What I find the most interesting are those that have moved from living the dream in a big city or close to one that along with a big house provided a lifestyle of being close to bars, restaurants, shops, etc, as well as the convenience of any amenities to a completely off-grid lifestyle. The most interesting to me are the people who headed off with no idea of what they were embarking on, they remind me of the pioneers of yesteryear, to now some five, ten, fifteen years, etc. later sharing along with some great information lots of self-reliant and independent ideas from yesteryear that have no reliance whatsoever on utility companies or any alternatives. My plan is to implement as many of those ideas that will work in my household and fit into my lifestyle. Keep on working towards improving my health and well-being as from what I have become aware of is that there is a possibility 2025 is going to be another year full of similar propaganda that began almost three years ago, if the most recent tabletop exercise/scenario (Oct 2022) at The John Hopkins Centre for Health Security like their previous one in 2019 is anything to go by, it could be another indicator of what lies ahead, I hope that's not the case as the narrative and censorship along with the constant shifting of the goalposts since 2020 have caused and continue to cause harm to many people worldwide. Even if I don't achieve everything I hope that by the end of 2024 or at the beginning of 2025 I have managed to achieve most of my plans, as we all know plans don't always go the way we want them to.
