What would be the consequences??

Last night my boyfriend and I went to a club in Sydney. It was our first time there together and thought going on a Sunday night would be best since its a bit slower than the other nights. The real fun happened afterwards.... Firstly, we had far too much Jim Beam to drink - we needed it to relax and calm our nerves. Secondly, we couldn't keep our hands off each other on the way back to Central Station that every chance we had either I was sucking my boyfriend off or his fingers were fucking my pussy. Given it was about 1am, we thought we could get away with this behavior around and at the station while waiting for our train. To cut a long story short, someone must have snitched on us as four transit officers surrounded us. They first split up my boyfriend and I to get stories out from each of us to see if they married up. We both managed to talk our way out of matters as I presented an overseas drivers license as my ID and my boyfriend said he was from Queensland. They couldn't do anything to us other than give us a warning. So, if we hadn't managed to talk our way out of it, what could they have done? Do they have any authority to charge us like the police? Since getting home last night, these questions have played on my mind - I think we were lucky to just get a warning! Was a heap of fun however and don't think that'll be our last escapade outdoors in public...would help if we were better in the know about our rights if we ever get caught again....!

If you have sex in public, you may be charged with committing an indecent act. Men using beats can be charged with ‘indecent acts in a public place’. Thanks Stalky - think we will stay away from train stations now. But, it was thrilling to be outside and somewhere where it was risky with the potential of getting caught. Were else could we go that isn't inside a car...? Surely there must be loads of places around Sydney that could be just as thrilling.....

To answer your other question...yes, the Public Transport Police can "arrest" you like real policemen and you really don't want to add "resisting arrest" to the court docket. | I invested in a full length Outback jacket that is a couple of sizes too large...you know the kind, black oilskin and comes clear down to the ground? So as long as they can't see and I only act up in public with women that aren't tall...well, home and hosed might be the right expression. | Besides at 1:00 a.m. even the real police are hesitant to question a four-legged alien with "that" look on his face. Its not all about security cams either .. A lot of the seemingly homeless who hang around the stations are actually undercover police who keep their cover by calling in reinforcements .. so thats where your snitch could have come from .. And yes .. the Transit police have the same powers of arrest as do the normal police or even federal police ..
