What type of events would you like to see?

November 21 2017

What kind of events do you like? Beach party, zoo picnic, jazz/blues train, nude beach, wine tastings, mineral hot springs, 2 night beach AirBnb., masquerade ball, camping under the stars.. We're particularly interested in creating an environment for newcomers to feel comfortable coming along. We're happy to organise some of these events. - Posted from rhpmobile

Where one can dress seductively, flirt, seduce and have a good time. A masquerade would also be fun. - Posted from rhpmobile

but Beach party would be awesome. The beach is such a sexy place. Lends itself to some healthy flirting, some activity for those who like that, kick a footie or something, others can just relax. Weather dependent obviously, this time of the year lends itself to it. So that would be my pick 👍👌

Hey in our opinion, things like beach party/nude beach, camping, beach camping, masquerade ball the sort of events where it can be predominantly social and are a getaway are great for newbies as there is no pressure and seem to be very relaxed and seem to have less perception of sleeze factor than clubs. Wine tasting and mineral springs, would be good but possibly harder to organise somewhere fairly discrete. Just our 2cents worth, but certainly would be keen to support or come along to types you mentioned (hehe just not quite sure where the mind goes at zoo picnic) 😁

Been to parties you guys organised before or you are a different Fred And Ginger 😜, they were always fantastic. We love any costume parties but a wine tasting one sounds good too 🤔. Best party would be one in Singapore 😜

Living on the mid north coast I would like to see something held here in my home town although there is a higher ratio of single males to single females and more couples. Unable to get to Brisbane or Sydney for anything or travel too far. My area has a lot to offer. It is midway between the other two. Just a thought for those who can afford to travel and maybe looking for something different.

Just a simple get together at a normal and nice bar and all the participants should be identified by a discret sign or gesture...for exemple...raising your right hand for 3 seconds or lift your glass for a tost and everyone else will know you are part of the party. Can be done anywhere anythime, no costs - Posted from rhpmobile

We have a few events in the pipeline coming up so if anyone in Perth has any particular ideas in store feel free to drop us a PM. Thinking of a M&G type event soon, a ladies day, daytime pool party, themed events and a number of other ideas kicking round in our heads atm. Will be after Xmas to avoid the glut of parties leading into the new year, so if you have anything in particular you’d like to see happen let us know.

Agree that beach/pool party is perfect for this time of year and also a classy event where you can dress up would be great. Mr D - Posted from rhpmobile

Beach or pool party is on our bucket list as is wine and fun. We're not big costume people yet, but love the idea of an erotic themed ball or cocktail party. - Posted from rhpmobile

Those sort of parties always turn into a bit of an orgy. Is that what you were asking about Fred and Ginger?

Yes Candy I suppose a photo shoot meet could turn into an orgy. Not exactly what I had in mind when I suggested a photo shoot, but if it feels good then why not. - Posted from rhpmobile

We would love to do a nude dinner party, max 20 - 25 couples, or singles, i.e. for every single guy a single lady so as to keep numbers even. perhaps at a hotel/motel type with a dining area and rooms available if/when required.

I know you are directing your topic at couples, but I also can speak for long term friends of mine who are a couple. They may be interested in some of your suggested activities. Of course, we have certainly not yet found any suitable events we can attend together, aside from commercial players parties (where both they and I can go to), but that is not what they are looking for (I have suggested some but they also do not support the skewed cost structure). So something more casual perhaps, no play requirements, no dress down rules etc. I know couples, and women, that have been directly and indirectly discouraged from attending private events when they have stated in advance they probably will not be playing. So perhaps the market gap is like you say, for parties more geared at networking over play/orgies. On a side note, when I held my first event last year, I arranged it via creating a seperate profile (now removed), designed for events and event suggestions. I had similar suggestions to yours listed on my profile, but I'm sure yours will come with more success and interest :)

We used to organise couples meetups in Melbourne for a couple of years when we first came to the city a few years back. People seemed comfortable with meeting up in a public place like a bar where there were no expectations of anything other than a chat over a glass of something. Of course, people were free to kick on and take take things further with whoever took their fancy. From memory we had about 70 couples at our biggest night. We found a lot of newcomers appreciated this less confronting introduction to the community. One of the problems we had was making a very small number of attendees understand that the required behaviour was a bit different to what was acceptable at a private house party! Unfortunately we haven't had time to do much of that sort lately. Most venues have also introduced minimum spends or booking fees, which made it hard for a free event. However, If someone else wanted to run them, we'd be keen!

As relative newbies, I'd say something casual like in a pub/bar where people just get to chat and meet with no pressure/expectations to hookup would be great for a first time. After that classy & sexy themed events would be lovely as a follow up meet. ;) P.s. got sunburned at Shark Bay recently and don't think hot sweaty sunscreened bodies will be particularly sexy... would consider a warm mid-summer's night though ;)

Thanks for the contributions so far. As we were new to the scene just a few years ago, we do want to appeal to those who are anxious or curious. A bar or late afternoon beach meet does seem to be the best bets. What about party size? Too small a group and there may not be enough people to meet. Too large a group and different concerns pop up - anxities, privacy, too much noise. Stay tuned for a few announcements! - Posted from rhpmobile
