I only do logical things usually. I root impulsively though. No game plan... just get the urge, go and find someone to fill it, and wing it from there. Let the body instruct the mind, kind of thing. Oh... And, I went out to buy a light globe and came home with a Triumph Street Triple R.... and this one time, or twice, I rooted someone bareback in the bum through a hole in the wall... umm and I discovered how much I like armpits by accident... I accidently slipped my tongue up under so Wines arm one day. Hugs Stalky

....to Outer Mongolia next September for two weeks, with sherpas, yaks and the lot. Anyone know how to say "What in the hell is in that pot" in Mongolian? They will eat it first I guess, so how bad can it be. | I'll only really worry if it keeps moving after I stab it with my Swiss Army Knife fork utensil. | Anyone want to go along...you know, just to drop bread crumbs on the way in so we can find our way out again? | Don't ask why...the answer is just as crazy as the trip itself.

Quoting 'ChasingMidnight' ....to Outer Mongolia next September for two weeks, with sherpas, yaks and the lot. I hitched into the desert in Israel with an Jeep full of army guys, and ended up in a Bedouin tent eating goat stew and the stew looked back at me..errr no thanks I do not eat EYE! Had to wash with water from a well, and stayed in a hut made of date palm leaves when I was at the oasis. Dirt floor And the natives were mighty friendly considering I had long blonde hair and eyes of blue.

Gawd, ChasingMidnight I spent 10 days in Tibet... hope the food is better in Mongolia. Even the thought of yak makes me shiver. LOL. I have travelled places impulsively. But I travel a lot so for me to do that isn't such a big thing. Moving interstate though that is big. But hey why not... you can always go back if it doesn't work out Tanya. I love people when they take a risk. Let's face everyday life can be pretty boring if we didn't mix it up a bit. xxMeeka

I don't remember the last time I did anything as impulsive as any of the above ... kids and impulsiveness tend not to go hand in hand all that often and I try not to back my bottom up to holes in walls . . I travel impulsively to Melbourne regularly, but not to move there! As Meeks said, that IS kinda big. But I think it's great that you're doing it and yes, as Meeks also said, you can always just turn around and go home if it all goes to shit! . I think as I've heard you say around these parts before, you've already made a lot of changes and travelled a long way down the life road in the last year or so. I'm all for calculated risks and a good plan, but life is too short. I think you're going to be just fine! . Good luck . Flirty x

You guys are just the big, warm, family hug that I needed right now :) (incidentally, I also impulsively dyed my hair emerald green once, whilst working in Fine Dining... The stories don't have to be travel!) I know everything will be ok, I keep running around telling everyone else that, lol, I guess it was just my turn for the reassuring pat on the head ;) and *HUUUUUUUUUGS*

We were diving yesterday, exploring the other side of one of the reef bombies that is more seculded...then strategic rip in then stinger suit and yep an underwater shag (10 meters down )........GREAT!!!!~going back to the boat for air after 20 minutes and not the usual 50 kinda gave it away.......but so worth it!! Heaps of spontaneous travel too.... one memerable one was a trip booket to Patong the next week after half a bottle of Southern Comfort.....and being in Kansas City in October eating lunch and we just decided to go to Nebraska for the afternoon- hey it was another state to have under the belt!

Can I just say Bratzilla, that I love being impulsive. In fact I adore it. It is often when you have the most fun... no preconceived ideas or plans, just going with the flow of things. I would love to have a life of spur of the moment impulses.I never have new year's resolutions normally, I don't plan tomorrow let alone the whole year, but last year mine was that each month I had to experience something new or go somewhere I had never been before. Not sure if I achieved that every month but I did lots of new things last year.... a lot of new sexual experiences, some travelling experiences, and new work experiences, met lots of new people, etc. etc. Overall last year was a good year I think. :) I give myself a clap. xxMeeka

I am the type of person that thinks most things through and not on the spur of the moment. This suits me well though its downsides are i do miss some great experiences by being too reserved sometimes. I did spot a car that i have always wanted from my late teens on the net one day and purchased it within the hour.Problem was the car was in the USA so i had to wait 3 months for it to arrive and hope that it was as advertised. All worked out well and i could go back to having a normal nights sleep again. On a recent holiday to Fiji with hubby, he went off for the day to play golf. Bartender on the beach kept asking where hubby was. Went back to the room for a break from the sun and got a knock at the door. Was the bar man with a drink. I invited him in and we played for over an hour. Had just got him out of the room and had a shower and hubby arrived back. Was the best action of the holiday

Last year I flew to Prague for1 night to meet up with a chic I met in a bar in London 2 weeks earlier. seemed like a great idea at the time, arrived Prague 3pm found said girl was working that night, managed a couple of drinks after she finished and then she had to go home to look after her 4yo son. Many pilsners later, boarded flight home at 10 the next morning.

Accepted a job in a war torn African country and flew a few days later, leaving my business in the hands of one of my team for six months. With a group, one of whom was pretending to be a pilot who needed to check the weather, walked past a security guard with a machine gun, through a no entry gate, and up an airport control tower for a look. Turned up to an auction out of curiosity and bought a house. Turned down two consecutive jobs in my field, paying well, because at the last minute they just didn't feel right. Lots of impulsive interstate and overseas travel :) Lots impulsive nights with men I met just hours earlier - though that was in my younger days! As Helen Keller said, life is a daring adventure or nothing at all ;)

I sold everything, gave up a well paying job, hopped on a bus with a seven year old daughter, two suitcases and a golf umbrella, came to Queensland to live in a Tibetan Buddhist Centre. Six months later I was on a plane with child and suitcases, but sans golf umbrella, on my way to the Santa Cruz Mountains to manage a Buddhist health and healing centre. The most amazing, life altering experiences .xHugs H ps I believe, it's the things that we don't do,the opportunities missed, that we regret the most, not the things we do.

Wow hesione what a story ! Love to hear more it sounds so interesting !!! On a non sexual front , within 4 weeks of suggesting living somewhere warm I had sold our house, packed and moved 3 children , bought another home and moved two states north , moral to the story , hubby never says things flippantly anymore :) I am actually a very impulsive person , tempered with age but still need little encouragement to do something extraordinary !

He says "let's go to to the Phillip Island MotoGP"..4am next morning off we go in his XP falcon. 80kph all the way across the Nullabour to keep the tired old engine running. We arrive on 4 1/2 cylinders blowing more smoke than the Hotham Valley Rail Way. Awsome time was had. I came back to Perth on the train for work. He bought a wrecked motor for the car and carried on around Australia.I'm so glad I did this. He died in a plane crash in the 90s. I'll always remember our trip Adam.
