You know my history on this and anyone who actually reads my profile should realise if they dont fit my criteria but again it always happens.....guys girls and couples all do it its not set to a specific group...as for your questions i have the following defintions: 1. a woman who is having an ongoing sexual relationship with someone outside of that persons marriage (always did wonder if a man has a mistress in this case what does a woman have?) 2. the female head of an institution (head mistress for schools etc) 3. arhchiac but a woman who has controlling authority of slaves servants etc 4. and of course in your case another term for a dominatrix Why must you be bisexual to be a domme??? In this regrad I have no idea (I wasnt aware it was a prerequiste to your profession) but on this front I do have to ask - why if you identify as a sub will you let just anyone dominate you and are obviously not serious about it if you wont let a strange man tie you up and take his flogger to you? why if you identify as bisexual will you automatically have a female friend that you wish to immediately share with a man you have never met?? Once again MistressT we come to the confusing nature of humans and their percieved misconceptions and stereotypes brought about by word association for them. But if you ever do find the answer to your questions could you drop me a line I am curious to know Kisses Focus

hi, i think we all know the meaning of this word for either purposes. but what you (MistressT) are using it as, is also a true terminology of a woman who takes the dominant role in bondage and discipline. but again, to my experience, mistress has most of the times been used as the secret lover of a married man for sexual pleasures. as we are all discussing on a such website, most ppl would initially think about the common meaning of it, which is the latter one. enjoy your own means; others will realise one day!!!

Well on this site...Automatically assume that Mistress is a Domme or someone into it... But traditionally a mistress is a kept woman. Usually to a married man but not always. Young single men often kept mistresses for convenience before they were married. Then once he decided it was time to move on, he would gift the lady with a house or necklace & she would then move onto find another protector. Generally i assumed a mistress to be similar to a courtesan (courtesan being trained in the arts, conversation & love ect)...but not always...sometimes a widow or a an actress. The man was usually responsible for all the lady's costs during their affair. An as for assumptions...I blame porn...The root of all evil!!! haha well maybe not the root of ALL evil but still the harbringer of misassumption in regards to sex. Mrs H xx

What Do I assume...nothing at all. What would I expect well again nothing at all. At lot of people use the the Term Master/Mistress Sub/Slave with out any understanding at all. I would certainly not expect that any one would automatically addopt either the dominant or submissive role straight away either. A Mistres/Master is some one who will earn the TRUST and the respect of their partner. The Dominant like to control actions, to set the rules it is their responsibility to guide protect and love their submissive. The submissive like to please, the get pleasure from pleasing to be the single most important thing for the submissive is the desire to please. This desire to please should generally override the desire for self pleasure. The relationship does not automatically involve Bondage Punishment or Pain. Most people do not acknowledge that the submissive has real power, it is their willingness to relinquish control and the level of control they yeild that drives the relationship. Domme/Sub situations really can not be one off they have to be developed over time. It takes a long time to establish the rules the boundries, discover what boundries can be push and which can't. To understand the needs of both players and to figure out if it is worth while. So what do I assume when I see the word Mistress...I assume that is the type of person I would enjoy chatting to Dominant to Dominant. I assume that the person will have a strong character. I will assume that they like to be in control. I would think that they like to be worshiped. I would think that they woud be firm and clear in the instruction they give. I would think that they would be harsh but fair. I would hope that they are good listeners. I would hope that they did not feel they had a god given right. I would hope that they treat their partners/play mates with love and yes RESPECT. MistressT you have asked a question you know very few will be able to understand and give the answer you would like to hear...even my attempt at saying what I assume just scratches the tip of things. Quoting 'LeoSteve' But wow, do you ever sound like fun :PLS I have noticed that Misstress are often thought of as being bi - I think because some people assume domination of a person always preludes sex...which it doesnt neccessarily....
