I remember asking the wife of a lovely couple in Perth that very same thing once.

Great question! I originally thought a nice friendly kiss on the cheek is appropriate way to return things to normal after a hot night (my wife is definitely the passionate kiss goodbye lady!) . But it’s think I’ve changed my opinion. A proper kiss is great way to leave things.
