Voluptuous, mmmmm sounds delicious. I am definitely on the voluptuous side (and I say so in my profile). I love my curves, I love my boobs, I love dressing up and showing them off. I love burlesque, I love the Vargas pin up girls and I couldn't tell you what my measurements are because I don't really care, other than that I am a size 16. As Jessica Rabbit said "I'm not bad, I was just drawn (born) that way" :)- Posted from rhpmobile

I love the word voluptuous- I love the way it sounds and rolls off the tongue...I love the Rubenesque picutres it conjures up my mind........I love it Now the irony is that Im 5ft 3 and all of my life I have been thin - underweight even - this was I believe at first due to my passion and past time for dance..in fact it was due to having AML twice in my life and that kept me very thin..(scrawney as) ..susbequent treatment and cure of the AML required steroidal use and wow, watch the weight stack on then !!! So Yeah Ive got curves - a polite way of saying I have booty !!! Due to weign gain I had to give up all classic dance which included pole dancing but to keep myself fit and in the groove I took up burlesque...burlesque is the for sexy big bountiful babes...nothing rocks more than the ladies with all the curves happening - this style of dance so suits this figure..ladies you go girls..cause you are gorgeous - sex on legs...!!! I have been fortunate that long term partners have been fine with my figure - but of course they know of my illness ..however one off meets arent that accepting...and this causes me anxiety for potential meets as I do not want to explain that yet again Im undergoing steroidal treatment. However I am always honest and inform potentials that Im not a size 10 and yes my photos are current So from a casual hookup point of view Ive yet to meet a man thats embraces my curves and adores them..Blindman Id have to say your a rarity - in my experience In answer to your question...I think RHP should change the body type anwsers, I think its should be as you suggested, height ,weight and then you add a written description of how your view your body - because for most (not all) physical appearance is a huge dealbreaker.

When I hear the word voluptuous I think of Sophia (or Sophie?) Vergara. Perfect hour glass, curvy where it counts, no excess in undesirable places. I'm more inclined to use ample to describe women with a little more meat on their bones than could be called truly voluptuous, and large when they're generously proportioned. I think we all have such different views of what each of these words/labels really means. Makes it tricky.

Best simpsons quote ever!! I absolutely love girls with a bit more to them than skin and bones. I hate this obsession that a lot of girls have that they need to be a waif to be hot. Don't really like the BBW label that's been thrown around... Much prefer it to be classed as natural. In any case who cares what weight and height and measurements someone is, sexy is sexy. Me: 6'1 and 75kg or so.. Haven't weighed myself in a little while. I'm most definitely not the ideal weight that's for sure, hope to rectify that in the very near future but that is more for health reasons not for anyone else.

Back in the dark ages of mankind the extra pounding, ample, fatty, curvy and voluptuous(as you call it) bodies were in trend, fashion or whatever you like to call it. Skinny ladies where aside unseen by any male eye. BBW ladies where everywhere...In paintings and from many many books you can find that this was the must for those days... Curly hairs, red cheek, ample bodies, long skirts, open cleavage, tonnes of powder and good manners. That was what you could see. Of course you could not see tonnes of cellulite and also you could smell them from kilometers away because showers and bathing was not so often as it is today :)As for now days it is an other temporary trend as it was with the skinny ladies you mention in your surfing days. After that we pass to airbag ladies... Remember thay period where women had breast implants and their boobies where so huge that they trully saying to gravity to f....ck off. Now the fashion put some brain to some other women and they put some implants just enough to have a nice pair round boobs. So all I am saying mr OP is follow your libito....not the trends :)

It is my biggest body hate. Emergency c-section first pregnancy, I got back to 52kg but my body, having been stretched and cut so low never returned. I am 5'6" and currently 90kg. Yes guys I keep telling you that because I AM a big curvy girl, I am still a big curvy girl at 80kg and 70kg which is where I'm heading back to. I would look ridiculous less than 65kg because I'm a solid woman built for all-terrain and comfort but still stylish enough to turn heads in the city; alot like your metro-sexual SUV. I am volupte, I am told I am pretty damn cute and better in the flesh than my pictures. Lol I ain't no bag of bones but a woman of flesh and blood AND if you give me shit I'll sit on you and squish you!!

Its wobbly, it has stretchmarks, it is definitely a mummy's body! But that's okay, because I am a mummy. And to be perfectly honest, when I'm straddling my partner with my boobs bouncing in his face and cumming all over his legs.....neither of us are thinking about my baby belly :)

are constantly critised, scrutinised, made to feel inadequate as women if we are too fat or too thin.We are confronted with idealised, airbrushed models, actresses etc almost every moment of every day. We are expected to be virtuous wives and mothers,if we are too sexual we are sluts,if we are not sexua enoughl we are frigid. We diet,we exercise and still it is never enough,we will never be perfect in the eyes of the one that truly matters....our own. Big Beautiful Women Blindman was indeed a marketing phrase coined for the section of the store that caters to the size 16 plus. Rubens understood the appeal of the voluptuous,so did Renoir. In many cultures fat is equated with wealth,in our culture we still live by that adage''You can neither be too rich or too thin'' ascribed to Wallis Simpson the very thin mistress ,then wife of a former king.

I know some guys are assholes, in fact I saw a group of guys calling out to a girl as she walked past them singing shitty songs making fun of her weight, poor girl really felt for her, she wasn't even large in my book - just curvy. I said something to her as she walked past And she just flashed me a smile and said thanks. Girls tend to be there own worst critics though, can't compete with a girl who's unhappy with their weight, no matter how happy a guy is with her. Be proud of yourself whatever body shape your in!

I know I love who I am and have been complimented on my Body form and softness so it works for me ..Infact 1 Lover said I'm a Smorgasbord a feast for the Eyes of Guys who are into BBW They don't know where to touch and taste 1st. I was Delighted in that compliment because it was so Nice of him to say and actually very apt too he!he! .. Part 2 of your Question concerning Personal Taste in Guys Physique .. I'm a sucker for an Athletic Guy -Medium Body If he's Naturally Tanned ie Middle eastern or Natural it's all good to me. Infact I'm drooling just thinking about them ha!ha! It is just another way to try and make women feel bad about their bodies. It's as bad as labeling larger women. Needs to stop.Awesome71 (and NO, I'm not obsessed with being a waif either)

Jeezus Ella you pumped those babies out in a hurry, way to go!! I'm lucky, no stretch marks and cellulite hasn't quite found me yet either. DLD and Cheeky keep ya shit up and I WILL squish you!! Unless a spit roast is on offer. :-). What I was trying to say was it doesn't matter what size y'are so long as you can make it work for you. Btw I can wear anything from a size 12-20 depending where I shop so all I have to say about clothing sizes is "up ta fuck ye bollocks ye can't even get a standard feckin' dress size right!!!". Shake them booties ladies and gentlemen above the acceptable BMI because somewhere out there are a heap of people who want you to rattle thier cages.

People are shocked when I tell them my actual weight and comment that I don't look anything like that weight. BMI is bullshit as well. It takes into consideration height and weight. It doesn't consider bone density or muscle mass. Won't be putting my weight up.

I've always preferred voluptuous women - naturally curvy, the hourglass figure, to the lovely BBW - they drive me wild! I've always out it down to the primal sexual urge (European caveman had Venus of Willendorf, even back then Europe led the sexual revolution) and that a bigger woman had a greater visual sexual presence. I don't look down on slim women, and hate the "toothpick" mentality, but I can't escape the sensory attraction.Christos13 is on the money. Slim women in fashion and media came about with World War 1, rationing and economic problems led to lifestyle changes and people had to adapt. Society embraced the image and unfortunately over time associated weight with weakness. Now we're stuck with a whole lot of shallow stooges.

This hurts, no one knows how much it can hurt. I am only 4’11 and buying nice clothes is not very easy. The fashion industry has lots to answer for. You go in a shop and see a nice top in size 10 and then go to 18 or 20 and you cant find the same top ohh noo it has to have arms cut out to your navel flowers exact over your boobs and the cut is just sooo aweful I am more then often stand in a shop and I could scream. Then you look at what sizes are sold out and it isn’t the 10s and 8s it’s the 16-18s shouldn’t this say something to both designers and buyers of women clothes? I was always on the bigger site I was always big legged it’s like it is. Yes it took me a while to see everything in perspective. Now with 56 I am more in tune with me then ever I have enough or as little sex as I want. I have males who like me for me we have a good time together. And what I can read on here it doesn’t matter whether someone is ideal build or not just the chemistry makes the two who meet work or not. Your face more often will attract the reader to your profile and then you make contact. What happens after that its just personality and happiness, with some it happens with others never. I like men, all men, yes we have to fit a bit in the physical together I have a big arse so a to small penis will not be too good because I like doggie, or two big tummies, because I have one, so it will be more difficult. Ohh no I lied now, ups I don’t like men with a beard or bad teeth, ups, sorry guys. Hmm am I total free of a bit of self critic no not. But we are all do the same to us, both Men and women. When we meet for the first time we thing a bit negative about our self. Ohh ,do I look ok will he find me as attractive as my photo and I think men have the same thoughts. So on this I finish my little letter, just celebrate your uniqueness, just celebrate your vibrant nature, just celebrate your age, your intelligent your own persona. Cheers Litonya

Not because I’m interested in how tall or heavy anyone really is. But I am interested in how they feel about telling us about them selves. Self confidence is possibly more sexy than a well restored steam locomotive. ~smiles~The "a little extra padding" thing is just fluffy.Usually the thing that's unattractive about a larger person is the baggage in their head. Which is why some large women are positively gorgeous!!LRE 85kg - 175cm

I have an entire wardrobe of clothes (not from the kid section) that would look awesome on you that I unfortunately can't get into anymore! Awesome71 possibly a poor selection of words, there was no intent to offend the more (or less depending on your perspective) fortunate ladies in the healthy weight range. And before my next provocative statement my post was not necessarily about myself being overweight BUT moreso about the "overhang" left from childbirth (I've also been spayed and the surgeon laughingly said to me before I went under that I was going to need a plastice surgeon to fix me after he was finished with me!!) because it worries me and I was genuinely curious to see how men and other ladies view them. NOW am feeling uncharacteristically volatile this morning so to help all those who require a bit more cushion for the pushin' in Katy Perry's words "maybe you should super size the deal." unless you're afflicted with an incredibly awesome metabolism that is!! Harden up people, fortunately for all of us and the men out there; people love us all shapes and sizes. Another little something I learned years ago whilst moonlighting as a stripper to supplement my meagre public servant's income. Bon appetite.

I don't find a super thin waif attractive in the least. More like an upholstered skeleton than a woman. I'm not partial to morbidly obese women either. Once a person (male or female) gets beyond a healthy size (and I mean healthy not athletic) it seems like they've given up on themselves. So any thing between super skinny and super fat looks good to me.

Quoting 'jensman1903' I don't find a super thin waif attractive in the least. More like an upholstered skeleton than a woman. Could this be what awesome71 was referring to? Would you call a morbidly obese woman an overstuffed cushion then? Descriptions like these are hurtful, not all women are in control of their size. A woman thin due to illness could read this and be devestated. And next question: does being underweight mean Woman Licence revoked?

Its ironic For all my body issues and insecurities (lumps, bumps weight gain, cellulite, jiggly bits - you know what Im talking about ladies..) . - I dont have any issue attending my local nudist beach and getting my gear off - I love the beach and I love bing naked at the beach...awesome And the only barrier between me and any person checking me out is a good sunscreen and that is it Yet it is here, in all my glory with all my lumps, bumps etc on show for all and sundry to see - 3 day growth on the legs, chipped toe nail polish, stinking of aeroguard and sunscreen , sand blasted skin, salt encrusted and fizzy fly away hair....I have no problem in attracting blokes to chat with , swim with , walk with and yes Ive picked up !!!....(yes ocassionally a strait single guy makes his way to this beach reknown for its bi/gay activity) Based on this - one cant help but wonder how come I can pickup ( like I have today - going out for drinks tonite) looking beyond ordinary and with no mystery whatsoever - and yet dressed to the nines, rocking stilettos, every hair in place ( no mean feat with my hair )polished and perfected and I cant even get a bloke to buy me a drink at the pub....so how does this work ? Currently examining my wardrobe and pondering...................why did I spend soooooooooooo much money (the equivalent of a small African countries national debt) on shoes and clothes ?

I still to this day cannot weigh myself n will never be happy with my body! Society played alot and still does play a big role in how ppl should look! Everyone is different - being skinny, slim, average, big, large - whatever! Respect ppl for who they are! If you don't like how a person looks, that's your problem, not theirs as you may not be their body type either! None of us are perfect n p in glass houses should never throw stones!

Big cocks opposed to small, circumcised opposed to non..bbw opposed to slight women Mehh it's who's here on any given day but some people can come across as big twats in my opinion and hurt some ones feelings by stating their.. (one out of how many on here's?) Opinion...ohhhhh forgot the classic innie versus outtie and one persons opinion it looked like rare roast beef...get my drift But in all fairness I haven't weighed myself in over a year but I've not ever been slight in stature nor bbw. I don't weigh myself ever but a doctor did recently - 167cm tall, 80kgs, heavier on top. I posted a topic ages ago about what was considered fat and like this topic the responses were many and varied. It doesn't matter what words are available to me, I struggle to work out which one applies. I asked a bunch of people who knew me a while back which of the following best described me - average, ample, a bit of extra padding, large, voluptuous. I got at least one of every answer plus a couple of extras - slim, athletic (which was damned funny - I mean there's just no way). I gave up and settled on average. Our perception of ourselves is often so distorted. I've been bigger and shocked at what the scales told me, not realising my weight had got so out of hand. I've been 20kg smaller - 59kg - and felt like a complete heifer. I think LRE's right - our own perception and how we feel about ourselves is what counts.

Quoting 'Sweet__Dreams' When I hear the word voluptuous I think of Sophia (or Sophie?) Vergara. Perfect hour glass, curvy where it counts, no excess in undesirable places. I'm more inclined to use ample to describe women with a little more meat on their bones than could be called truly voluptuous, and large when they're generously proportioned. I think we all have such different views of what each of these words/labels really means. Makes it tricky. ohsotrue very very nice taste??may suit us..

Is a great word. It conjures a feeling as well as images. It makes me think of cold mangoes on a hot day and juice dripping over bodies. It speaks to me of sexual appetite as well as curves and full body. It would be great if you could tick a box that says voluptuous. No way I am sharing my weight on here. Its nobodies business in my opinion. As for men, one with social and emotional intelligence is what attracts me. If they are well built, what a bonus as it alleviates my fear of hurting them when I ride them.

A person happy in their own skin is far more attractive than any lable :)

We humans are funny little creatures when it comes to looking at ourselves and our bodies...We are our own worst critics!!To me it is how WE perceive ourselves and our bodies to others. We can't help but compare to others and our bodies-it's human nature. We dislike seeing of ourselves naked - yeah??We pick at our worst bits...our wobbly bits, out boobs, our butts, our legs..We ask ourselves...Do I look fat in this?? Will this shirt will cover my butt?? Oh I am having a fat day today??Look at my beer gut??Well the fact (for me that is) The naked human body is the most beautiful thing. We are the only species that cover themselves with clothing...think about it??Do giraffes wear clothes daily? do turtles wear clothes? Do ants wear clothes??Humans get caught up in their own emotions, sensations and observations from others therefore not giving them selves thier own SELF-WORTH..We need to embrace the naked human body, big is beautiful, small is beautiful..Like who really cares what others think of your body - do you care really??I say..... HUMAN BODIES ARE BEAUTIFUL!!

Next time you go out. Dress up of course but in something you feel comfortable with including make up - just what you might normally wear on any given day. And instead of sitting their being bored look around and pick the most interesting looking person and go up and talk to them. I wonder what would happen? Have fun at dinner tonight. ;)

Definition of VOLUPTUOUS 1 a : full of delight or pleasure to the senses : conducive to or arising from sensuous or sensual gratification : luxurious b : suggesting sensual pleasure by fullness and beauty of form 2 : given to or spent in enjoyment of luxury, pleasure, or sensual gratifications You will notice that the defination does mention weight. I usually associate Marilyn Monroe, Sophie Loren etc as being voluptuous

My hair was a mess and my make up a distant memory, but my smile and eyes were big and bright. Man, did I get some attention, from men and women alike. Then again, maybe I still smelled of sex.

men just need to adjust to the fact that all women r different in how they look in their bodies sum can be the same sizes but different shapes i as the male here treat them all as they wud want to be treated (i hope at least )as we had 1 man who didnt believe the wifes boob size we had c cup down an the last bra we brought was d cup but that doesnt mean she has tits the size of melons it is her shape so girls feel comfortable with urslef if ppl cant be ok with ur shape, size etc then they shudnt be here wanting wat u have to offer

That "I have just been fucked look" yep that would do it. If you have sex on the mind it shows in your walk, in your eyes and your smile and you leave people thinking. I want what she is having!

I am happy to say I am a curvy woman who loves her body but also one who does not discriminate against other men and womens bodies what ever shape and size they may be. I would rather help another's self esteem than hinder it. that is not to say I dont have my personal preferences and in saying this I do not restrict myself or reject someone straight away just because they do not exactly "fit my ideals" of someone that I am looking for. I take many things into consideration and at the end of the day if theres just no chemistry there sexually or I am not stimulated intellectually then that's a deal breaker. I have not always been happy and confident when it comes to my body, I was one of the first girls in my grade to get hips, boobs and a bum which caused some insecurities about my body at an early age and then I was in a destructive relationship where he was not happy with his body and projected it on to me and the way I looked. I have fought with myself to over come them and at first it was "fake it til you make it". Now at the age of 25, also at my heaviest I am the happiest I have ever been and most confident. As we get older, wider or in some cases smaller and bits and pieces finally succumb to gravity we will always be finding new things about ourselves we don't particularly favor but instead of focusing on those find things that you do love about yourself (and others as well) even if you have to pick something and pretend you like it at first lol. Women complain men are so judgmental of our physical appearance but we are our harshest critic, if we can't even get past it how can we expect others to? Stop hating on yourself and stop hating on others. Both are self destructive. I have no problem stating my height and weight and even putting a little side note about how I view my own body "167cm, 74kgs, unapologetically sexy, curvy and delicious. However what looks 74kgs to one may not look 74kgs to another same as what is "athletic" is not always interpreted the same so really who cares? I say we may as well leave it the way it is, it will always be subjective and really it doesn't matter if someone is passing up an opportunity with another because of one 'minor' detail then it's their loss and you wouldn't want to invite them to the wonderland that is your body anyway. Save it for the ones that will enjoy the ride ;) whether you're 'wet n wild', 'big dipper' or a 'bush beast', what ever size or shape you are embrace it.

Hi Blindey, Read your post with interest. I have always loved voluptuous curvy girls! Yum! Give me a healthy, funny, curvy girl over an uptiight stick insect any day!! As an ex-surfer I was exposed to those surfy dickheads who called anyone but themselves or those ignoramus' like them 'kooks' and also went out of their way to make any curvy girls feel bad. Grrr! I never hung with a crowd like that but anyone that aims to feel better about themselves by putting someone else down is aiming low, very low. Their loss. Ha ha - good luck with their high maintenance wannabe model bimbos. A perfect match for the surf tool's overpumped bodies and vacuous heads. LOL For the record i have always loved and preferred curvy women and seeing a shapely body overspilling from a bra n panties is a HUGE turn on for me. A nice round bubble butt and c cup is a winning combo. Pour those curves into a Bavarian beer wench outfit and my blood pressure goes through the roof! Now the tricky bit... What is curvy and what is obese? I draw the line at obese and don't find that attractive as it simply seems unhealthy to me. Please don't think I'm trying to make anyone feel bad here but it's just how i feel. Honestly when a lsdy's stomach is larger than the bust i just can't go there. Having said that - I am so rapt that 'average'or realistic women are more in fashion and acceptable these days. It's almost like the tide has begun to turn and i welcome the celebration of their beauty. Curves? Yes please! Real women of the world celebrate your sexiness! Cheers, FFB xxx

Voluptuous...even the word sounds sexy. I am proud to say that I am a sexy voluptuous bubbly hot good looking woman. A real woman with great big boobs and booty and love it!!!We live in a society in which society tell us that beauty is only for the thing beautiful faces and perfect skin chicks. And even peer pressure among men, when some of them secretly like bigger women but only sleep casualy with them because they will not be socially accepted by their peers or mates. The truth is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some guys/ladies like thing people and some like them bigger. The trick is that if we are self empowered and are happy with ourselves, it will not matter if we are bigger or thin. We will look Gorgeous. Because it is all about how comfortable we are with ourselves and our qualities as a human being and not about just the looks. Since I discovered that, I have never looked back and I look the best ever in my whole life. While there are some guys that will never be able to see the beautiful gorgeous person as a whole and sexy, sensual with a great heart that I am. Just because they are blinded with what society sells them thin, blonde, sexy, superficial... That is ok. It is after all their loss. To me it does not affect me whatsoever and for everyone of them, there are others that don't stop telling me how gorgeous I am and how much they enjoy my company. Being a beautiful woman is something that comes from within and all the marks that life leaves in our bodies are part of that beauty and only some few lucky men are able to notice. I personally prefer an attractive man with a great personality rather than a perfect muscly body without brains, values and feelings. And I have rejected a few here and elsewhere.

Wow did not notice this thread take off. Will have to go back and read more of it.Quoting 'Kyle895' Peraonally im sick of fat girls saying theyre curvy or voluptuous. Curves are sexy as when theyre in the right places and ur firm. If you have a gut and ur saggy ur fat get over it n change if you want too- Posted from rhpmobile Young people are only sexy when they have had years added and learnt the nature of mother nature. Change is not an option, its inevitable.Typical example of cultural bigotry that I find so ugly. Sexy is all about how you feel, you ooze sexy when you feel sexy.

We all can't be perfect can we. When I was 23 all my bits were firm and having fun was going out and enjoying myself with my mates. Now I am old I find I am way more sexy with all my saggy bits,I am so sexy now.

It does seem that we are divided in our opinions here. We are who we are yet I have found the fuller figure represents a more indulgent person in many aspects of life. Sex is an indulgence and i love that hedonistic character. I have a wardrobe full with my big sizes and small. Every few years I cycle from 105kg to 70kg and back. When life is good for me I have weight, when life is hard I lose weight. Under the age of 35 I could not gain weight no matter what I ate, but then I was very active then. I no longer have a great kitchen (I love to cook) and I have had to control my love of good restaurants which was at times an almost nightly event, if not more. I am but a student now.Body beautiful is voluptuous, and women IMHO should be soft. To be enveloped in those curves is the luxury I enjoy most. Little bit of oil in the mix makes it pure joy. With the lustful mind included it is heaven. Shame culture has made it shameful and many are not willing to show all even in private company. Let it all out I say for sex starts first in the mind never with the body. But do look after your health, not that I can talk.

I even like cellulite.... When i was a teenager, i was never into Penthouse or Playboy maganzines....even though my mum would add to my porn collection every now and then when my parents were finished with theirs. lol. Don't go there...... I used to buy the nudist magazines for the more "natural" woman. This was of course pre-internet days. My mum used to have old French paintings of naked rubenesque women on the walls. Maybe that had something to do with it. When i was a teenager, I lived with my uncle and his partner for three months. They used to walk around the house naked. His partner was a gorgeous curvy woman and i had a bit of a crush on her. She had a bit of cellulite on her upper thigh and i used to think that that was dead sexy. Then again i was a teenager seeing a naked older woman. :) Any naked female was sexy. lol. That may have had something to do with it as well.........lol. Then again, I love the feel of a curvy woman. I also love the visual of all of the jiggly bits..........
