Voice attractiveness

April 02 2012

How important to you is the sound of someones voice ,or is physical attraction much more important.?   What is it about someones voice that you find a turn on,is it accent, tone, the words the person uses, and what effect   does that special kind of voice have on you?   Have you ever been seduced just by the sound of a voice?

I don't necessarily need a 'sexy' voice, whatever that is, but there are voices that make my ears hurt, and I just couldn't picture having to listen to something like that day in, day out. But it's probably not that simple... I've never been attracted to someone who's voice I couldn't stand - so perhaps attraction can overrule an annoying voice, and the brain has a little play with it's graphic equalizer to overcome something that 'trivial'. . I have to say I met someone once without even speaking to them on the phone. The first time I heard their voice was when they rang because they couldn't work out how to get to the hotel from the train station. I gotta say I was relieved that it wasn't Shazza on the other end. But if my theory is right - I wouldn't know. Although an accent is a winner hands down... but that is regardless of male / female etc - accents are automatically engaging to the listener... qui?

The sound of someone's voice is very important to me. At least initially, it is far more important than physical attraction. Inflection, tone, articulation, all of it plays a part in attraction. Accents and deep voices, I agree, can also be extremely sexy. I like to think I can 'read' a voice very well. From a voice alone, I can detect attentiveness, boredom, distraction, dishonesty and vulnerability. . I met someone once without even speaking to them on the phone. The first time I heard their voice was when I rang them because I couldn't work out how to get to the hotel from the train station. Thankfully, their piss-taking,highly amused tone reassured me that I wasn't about to meet a total psychopath. . Flirty x

Hang on ... sounds familiar ET xox No coincidence ET. But let the record clearly state, my voice definitely does not sound like it belongs to a "Shazza".   Infact, it sounds particularly sultry and seductive and as smooth as silk whenever I sneak up behind him and say "Just bend over that car a fraction more JG, I promise you ... this won't hurt a bit!" . Oops. Wrong forum ... Now where was the strap on one I saw earlier?

...and perhaps reveal more in a matter of seconds that pages of written words. Laughter, tone and cadence...as well as being able to hear feelings that are more difficult to express in the written word. | Accents, yes I have one and more if you like...and from what I am told, it is just a bit sultry and deep. | Given the choice between interpreting pictures and the written word...the sound of a voice, shared laughter and those pauses when you know they are listening too win out every time.

Is physical attraction more important- depends on how extreme the disparity between voice and owner....There is a degree of give and take that works and then- Big manly guy/ girly voice = pmsl and little fella / manly voice = it might either compensate and help is level of attraction up to point or have me in the same position covering my mouth to smother the laughter! In terms of a not so attractive body and/or face- voice would help but 2nd charisma and wit.Vocal turn on's- Tone and the fact that you can hear so nuance's- confidence, humour, nervousness, eagerness. apprehension, low pitched, soft, wanton growls are a favourite of mine. What does it do- makes me take a really deep breath through my nose, close my eyes whilst I hold it for a second and then exhale out my nose (I know it's wrong but it's what happens) and sort of go like thisYes a wrong number phone call when I was 14 but he kept talking...... turned quite quickly into a long, very one sided phone sex- he talked, I got hot and masturbated- so random! I was on the gold coast 0755****** I think a misdial of a 0055 number hehe.....lucky me.Cass xxx

That's what happens when a nice fella rings and asks if it's okay if he is early when I am still on the forums and that 1/2 an hour I thought I had disappears!Or was I playing fill in the blanks. And accents are sexy- As long as there doesn't appear to be a language barrier that makes me have to work really hard to understand or question if they understand me- it's already hard enough for those with English as a 1st language! ...and if they suddenly go silent on the other end, I read from one of my Mills and Boon "little housewife helper" handbooks which just happen to be laying around. | I've now got one hell of a collection of ring-tones.

She was serving in the canteen at an athletics carnival in Wagga Wagga (I wrote it twice so as not to upset any Wagga locals that might read this). As I approached the queue, I heard her address one of the customers. "Gidday, mayte! Oww err ya gu'n'!" Very nasal and very ocker. Instant soft on material.

Voices are so very important. I think you can tell a little about the person by how their voice. I am a very aural person, it could be the musician in me. I like to hear someone's voice before arranging a meeting.E

Must say i do like accents too, of every type just not the really high pitched sqeeky voiceIts funny as run my own show, im British, offsider polish, and its always the same get that call, "gee mate bet this one is amazing" though more often than not its when either one of us go to the job alone (not often when she sounds so desirable) is she actually amazing too, ha more often he goes, maybe stop using him lol. Always good banter to get through the day though. We we sometimes get an effect though via our accents say i did most the talking (not that any thing has ever happened at work) but then when offsider talks with his polish accent it goes to another level again, so we some times play on it. Some times it is i to talk at the end if his client, not quite the same effect as his but still get some effect. He (offsider) is also very very polite also few years younger than I and has a head of hair LOL.(Ongoing clients have got used to us now though, some it had no effect but not many).

Was playing with the woman of a couple off here, but then after about ten minutes of her high pitched squeals of pleasure, I simply couldn't stand it anymore. I got dressed, apologised, said that I was going for a walk and that they were free to 'finish off' before they leave (I was on a work trip, staying in a hotel room). Absolutely unbearable! Give me a low-pitched, lightly accented accent that rolls off one's tongue any day.

For me voice can be a complete game breaker. I think that it's got something to do with how we mentally picture a person, and we draw assumptions from that sound. For example, really nasally = bogan, etc. Never again will I meet without calling first (did it once ever....)

As long as its not a big manly voice on a pretty girl voice does not come into be attractive to me ...that being said I must say a handsome guy with a sexy accent does go well together :)
