Vibrator reviews

December 26 2012

Hey all,So last weekend I was out with some girls and found out that one girlfriend in her 30s has never had a sex toy in her life. With her birthday coming up in Jan, I've decided I'll get her a vibrator, but having been pleased with the one I have (which is no longer on the market), I haven't tried many others.Any recommendations for vibrators under $100, noise-level quiet to moderate, easy for a beginner to use? Thanks :)

The WeVibe tango is an amazing mini external use vibe that plugs in to charge rather than batteries. Also, apparently the Lilo branded ones are good too.   Dida   xx

I am not into vibrators. Maybe I haven't given them a fair chance?

Meeka obviously obviously has no trouble finding men who vibrate a little bit more naturally...

I recommend the Lelo brand....have picked them up for discounted prices at Sexpo for the last 2 years and have not been disappointed. They are all able to be recharged via power cord and have a variety of speeds and vibrations and the shape means they can be used internally or externally. Most I think are over your price limit - but in my opinion well worth it :)

The BUNNY RABBIT.. :)I have tried others and keep going back to this one..is battery operated, separate speeds for the RABBIT (vibrations intensities to soft to quick impluses) and separate speed buttons for the tip its-self...(rotations)Oh yeah just anothertip (mine is clear) - some of my partners have told me they prefer darker coloured vibrators as it makes juices of woman stand out (a turn on to see)....LOL My next one will be darker!!Good Luck!!PS- I'm sure your girlfriend is going to be very happy indeed no matter what type you get her Be prepared for her to lock herself away for two days when she first uses it :) :)

Thanks for the recommendations so far, guys! I was considering a WeVibe or a Tiani (having one myself) that she can use with her hubby as well, although it is a little out of my present price range. The newer, rechargeable vibes (mostly by Lelo) these days while they look more modern and stylish, seem to have less 'shape' and I'm not sure how they compare to the more original Rabbit models that she was curious about. Looks like more market research for me!

I have a friend in the states that swears by her Doc Johnson pocket rocket. Not sure if they available in Aust but she travels the world with it. Doc Johnson range seems to hit the spot.

The Tool Shed on Oxford St, so many toys, so little time! I'm sure you'll find something there, Amuse!

Buy her lubricant (wet stuff brand is the best in my opinion) with it too! A lot of girls don't realise how needed that is especially for the clitoral area (dry friction ouchy!)

Definitely the WeVibe. But if out of he price range look for one with a clitty tickler, as this should be a nice introduction to Dildoes for her.

Hi Amuse   We bought the Wee Vibe 2 awhile ago even though it was more than we wanted to spend. After reading the reviews on it we decided to buy it anyway as you generally get what you pay for. To be honest we have been a little disapointed in it. It is certainly well made but as far as being the ultimate for couples it just doesn't really do it that much for ourselves. As far as Mrs Luvsilver using it on her own she found it also to be just ok.A lot of people will not agree with us but it is just what we have found .   So maybe not what to get but more like what not to get your friend. Mr Luvsilver.

Quoting 'amuse_bouche'... Looks like more market research for me! For sure...prices vary and quality is a concern with cheapers ones... the nasty cheap rabbits with rotating beads can be a bit vicious if they wear out (metal bits etc... look closely before buying). Some of the more expensive units have better coatings if the lady in question has sensitive skin and some are waterproof... agree with Curves21, lube for the first timers.. again check for sensitivity issues (there are some good water based lubes out there now days)   Another thing to consider is what does it for your friend (may or may not have been a discussed topic)... some vibes are internal only and some are external only... (e.g. the Lelo Lilly is external)   As for sharing with partners... things like penis rings with vibrating beads attached may be of interest because it will be of use when he is not around. Again be careful of the design... I have a Lelo TOR which I can't use because whilst it makes me happy the battery/vibe compartment moves and scratches my partner.   My suggestion (if you can afford it or go in with the other girls to make it a group lovein gift) is the Lelo Lilly for external pleasure which can be shared with the partner or something from the Fun Factory (can't see the g-spot stimulator my partner used but it looks like a seahorse )

Its its her first then, I would get a generic more rabbit like one, From there she will figure out what she likes about it and what she wants from her next vibrator. also lube Cos I had no idea to use lube until my second one- Posted from rhpmobile

I worked in adult shops for quite a while and in vibrators cannot bypass genuine rabbitt has a lot of different functions speed , motion intensity. Just a tip when i was selling toys i always suggested when holding it during demos try closing youre eyes it increases the senses . Also good idea buy toy cleaner helps maintain the product and also healthier a good lube try pjur not cheap but you dont need much . And no i dont work in adult shops anymore so im not after commision . This maybe a little more than you want to pay but between a few girlfriends it wont be expensive after all you wouldnt want a vibrator to give up on you during prime time would you regards Iain
