When I first came here I had no real understanding of what NOT being verified meant to others (and got around to it eventually lol) But it was just kind of 'one of those things' I kept meaning to do, but found once I got online and in the forums or messaging I always forgot. But with all the guys using porn pics or catalogue pics as their profile it has become quite valuable

I don't think that being verified means a thing! I have had "girls" chat me up in the chatroom only to look at their cam each time and it's a guy! Also, if you have someone that has been here for years, they could have verified at the very beginning and also not changed pics or profile details. They are 20kgs heavier and look 15 years older than when they first signed up and verified! I can't count the amount of Verified guys I have added to MSN only to see them on cam and be horrified to see it is not the same person that was on this Site or that they look nothing like their pics! I think it would be a good idea that Verification happens once a year and I know that RHP admin is busy...but they need to see if the pic that is sent to them for Verification is indeed the person that they portray themselves to be! xFunlovingx

Hey Johnny, . I'm sus of the non verified profiles... it's just one of the ways I screen guys. I often wonder if there are more married men pretending to be single who are not verified than the single ones who are simply too lazy to verify ! . Verify doesn't guarantee squat but it is a little bit of a screening tool....one of many I use ! . Good luck, Saturn

I am who I am and IF I meet someone they have already seen me on cam and verified that I am who I say I am. What advantage is there to being verified? Do I get one month free on my membership or something?

It really is just one of those things, i mean we have 20+ photo in each private gallery, all of our profile is filled in with correct details (i mean honestly, whats the point in lying when inevitable u are here to meat ppl who will clearly see if ur full of shit!) but we arent 'verified' simply from not sitting down & taking a pic with our name on it or whatever, a bit lazy i guess yes, but we happily jump on cam and meet ppl regularly so i guess in the end dont really feel the need!

I think being verified, and also having public face pics does build an initial level or trust I just wish people would put up pics that are fairly recent ie within last year. I think that is reasonable to ask. x dave

We're verified and have really only had much success with other people who are verified too so when someone who isn't verified comes along (and we're interested) we usually play it safe until we can talk on the phone or cam with them.It's one of the things we've learnt after a lot of unverified people would just ask for PG access and then dissapear forever (it could be because we're not they're type but I don't think we're hideous enough to scare them ALL away) hahaThat said however, I wouldn't automatically discount someone if they weren't verified. All it means is that it might take a little while longer for us to share our pics with them. After all, we're not going to meet up with someone without talking to them on the phone first and even if we meet there's no guarantee that we'll play :) I do understand why some people wouldn't go to all the bother... but we think it was worth it which is why that was the first thing we did.

Everyone has their own views on verification. Some don't mind, and some won't even look at your profile after seeing it isn't verified. I'm not verified...yet. Laziness is a killer. BUT, I also figure if you read my profile, you should kinda get the impression that i'm atleast "real". And I also have a cam and a photo taking thingy, so verifying pics isn't an issue either...to those I select. If you're big on seeing the "real" person you're talking to, simply ask if they have a cam maybe? But to pass on non-verified profiles "just because" seems a little silly to me...BUT, thats just yet another point of view!

But if I am not really planning on going up from guest is there a point?Like I mean if I was keen I'd be doing my own checks and balances, and if someone asked (that I could be interested in) then can't I do that offline? Just not sure about sending my mugshot to unknown business entities :P

we are a new couple to this but have been on others.. this site is a bit betterwhen you can have friends validate as it takes but a few minutes to do...we look to the verification and validation a bit as we have been stung before by wankers looking for pic. They have nothing better to do because they may not be able to get a piece of the action ... as someone else has said maybe every six months or go to an event where you can be identified by the people who run the site .. maybe a bit far fetched but at least it goes a bit further.. we have accepted people on faith but we generally sus things out by messages and calls .. they maybe just collecting picks... you may have to learn to pick the small mistakes they make ...

the guys don't see the issue as you put it .. we are a couple and i am mick the male ... what you don't see is that there are guys that have a female profile looking to chat to fem and couples for fun/pictures and not sure what else... i have been single on another adult site and didn't understand what all the fuss was about either until i saw first hand from my partner looking for fems on her own to play... there are fakes out there spoiling it for the real people and must say rhp at least has some things in place as to help people decide...once you have been burned it is hard to trust haven't yet come accross fakes on here but we are cautious...
