With a vego......not a problem at all. So what if there was a little more washing up to do, separate pans for cooking meat or veg.Unless one or the other gets a bit preachy about why their way is best, and it goes from being personal choice to pushing a choice, then it's no different to one being a cereal person and the other preferring toast coffee or tea dear?

Just don't be a fucking preacher whatever your decisions in life. I think the worst combination would be a vegetarian and a vegan coupling. I've noticed a lot of vegans are quite militant in their lifestyle choices and see vegetarians as doing it half-arsed, as opposed to the rest of us plain old uneducated omnivores.I can cook great vegetarian and great animal protein based meals, so I have no problems who I'm cooking for.

...a vegetarian substitute for a woman, then I might turn. | Flesh...I like it, I want it and I love the way it tastes.

... fully fledged, non-militant veggie/semi vegan here! :-) I do partake in a little meat, just not the type served on a plate ... KK xx

who was a vego,, i've grown up around a lot of vego's living in Margaret River..... anyhow,, i asked him one day 'why the vegie's dude and no meat?'..... he explained it was purely his parent's influence.... i said 'fair enough'... so i asked 'any reason your eating that chicken sandwich then?' he answered, 'i don't eat any meat from an animal that is bigger than me'

I've lived with vegetarian housemates and partners and it's never been a problem other than a little extra cooking and cleaning. I'm quite happy to cook and eat vegetarian though while some people are not. Mrs C is vegetarian most of the time and we often just add meat to half a dish and tofu to the other.Vegan is a bit harder and they tend to be a little more fanatical as Polar says. You know they have super powers right? Could be handy...Mr C

I was vegetarian for 10 years and never had a problem with people accommodating me; in fact, I was appreciative they were even willing to as I neither expected nor demanded it.I'm no longer vegetarian and wouldn't have a problem being involved in a vegetarian relationship. I don't see it is any different from dating someone who's lactose intolerant or doesn't like a wide variety of food. I'm interested in the person I'm 'dating', not what they put in their mouth (well, alright, I'm a little bit interested in what they put in their mouth, especially if its me )

Hesione.. google the lyrics to HWC by Liz Phair :) Vegans dont like me - even though I taste sweet. I dont talk about it, I just eat what I eat.. I kill to eat, and eat my meat raw when I am at home. When I order steak at a resturant , I state "Cut it's horns, wipe it's arse and put it on a plate please" (it is always good to say please) caveman.. by nature

yeah my wife left me mostly because she was vegan and I started eating dairy products again , after being vegan for a couple of years , but that was a real breath of fresh air , a real relief thank god!So yeah vegans can be FULL ON , but I totally 'get' that , I understand why they feel that way. But back to the topic ; I've found that I've been dumped (yes it even happens to the great Allnite lol) I think 3 times in the last year or so because of this veg problem , well at least it was one of the main things listed as being a problem. That and my incessant farting in peoples faces jk......so yeah I've been a bit preachy here and there , -only a lil bit ,sure , guilty as charged , its not something which is a small matter for me (animal killing) , but with the last one I didnt preach at all , not one word , so whats up with that folks? I DO find it makes people uncomfortable or awkward when in play situations too , quite often in fact , ok its something that I'm adept at smoothing over now , yeah I crack some jokes and stuff and shes all good , but frankly I have noticed that some people think theres something a little wrong with you if dont eat meat. Anyway I'm not having a whinge , I'm not a bleeding heart , just saying that its often a bit like saying you dont drink , some people do a double take , they dont say wtf , but they sure think it , you can see it on their faces lol you have to get better at acting people! hahahaAnyway hippy hugs and kisses to all of you motherfuckers , tree huggers and meateaters alike. Not trying to start a war here btw...
