Profile pic showed nice slim lady on the beach (not a model) and at the meet the earth moved and it wasnt coz of instant attraction, from a size 8ish on the beach to a sie 22ish at the coffee shop lol (must say not a rhp contact)

How embarrassing. You've ratted me out and now Long Dong Silver will want his pics back :p I have to say it's very common on other web sites for guys to do that. One web site I use, in particular has lots of manly photographs in a hot shots section. lmfao at the number of new guys who use on of those photos for their avatar, as if the rest of us wouldn't realise... hehe. I've met some people who don't match their close ups.. lolz... only once each though, dickheads. Lotsa hugs GAz

gidday frack...well, this pic is definitely me...i know cos i took it....grins...however, i did have the misfortune to meet someone who was not their pic...quite amusing now, anyway, my first date, yep, my very first date after becoming single again was with a delightful lass called fiona...we chatted for a while on msn then agreed to meet...Now, i was expecting a 5'7ish slimmish woman...that is what she was on her profile...so, there i was, sitting in a pub waiting for her to come when a 5 foot nothing rolly polly beach ball who weighed i think somewhere around 22 stone or so....rocked on up and started chatting to me...now, do not get me wrong, i have nothing against BBW's i think they are truly beautiful women, and even when she said her name was fiona, it didn't click...i guess i was just in some other world...anyway, i was a bit stand offish, because i don't normally chat to strange women especially when i am just about to meet up with someone for the first time...when slowly it dawned upon me that THIS was the fiona i was meant to be meeting...well, i am a very polite and respectful person, but i have my limits...and when i said to her..."Fiona?...y-y-you are F-F-Fiona?...uhm...F-F-Fiona from msn...that i have been chatting to???" and she said yes, i just said that she was not what i had imagined...and u know what she said...she said...oh, the pic?...that's me sis...nice isn't it...I bought her a drink and said it was nice meeting her, but i couldn't be friends with someone who portrayed themselves as someone else...and i left...cheers jose

Yeah, I'm gonna fall madly in love with someone who carried on trying to make me believe they looked like Channing Tatum... when they are 60, balding and less than hard bodied on finally meeting someone. It just seems stupid, but I guess that comes from personal insecuritites. Different Story if your using a non face shot because of work, etc...but the same principle can be applied to those people who use photos of themselves from ten years ago, or older photos..... I mean, I'm not perfect, but i'm not gonna disguise the fact that I'm a bigger chick by using one of my more flattering shots from 10 or 15 years ago when I was a bit of alright.... it's clearly deceitful. After many years of chatting, the good old fake photo chat has come to light hundreds of times....Bottom line is, if u r REALLY here to MEET people, why would u bother posting a fake pic??? ..I have a motto when i meet "If ya dont like me..so what?"....Its not going to be the end of my world....So from my point of view id rather be upfront and honest from the start...On another chat site i used to be accused of being a fake....then i posted pics on my profile...then i was accused of psoting fake pics....i bought a cam....and showed myself on cam...i was then accused of being a video....hahahaa...for some people...u can never win....xoxox

I sometimes wonder when looking at female profiles and see that they have a bunch of people in their friends list that look like they just walked out of a body building convention. In the general population I'm sure there aren't that many guys around with abs of steel walking the streets that need to bother with a site like this. I mean I'm part of a football squad with around 40 players ranging from 16 to 40 and not one of them has abs like these guys. I wonder how many of them actually meet someone showing they are for real.Also realise this post isn't about people who put pics up of themselves from 10 years ago before they put on 25kg or so. Instead it is just of people that have pics that are not them. I have come accross this a couple of times. Haven't met anyone that did but once talked to someone who told me straight the pic wasnt them. That was a female btw. It does seem senseless to do if they are ever thinking of meeting anyone. I don't see the point in it but maybe they like living in a fantasy world. Another one that gets on my nerve is were there is a group pic only or 2-3 people in the pic and they don't specify which one they are. especially when there may be one slim hottie next to Ms average, almost always its the latter that is the real person.

I_watch_yous......after your post the other day regarding people using the forums for reasons other than they are intended......you go an insult someone by saying that "in my book you are definitely fat as".......to someone who was responding to another users' post. You misread what Elijae was saying - she didn't say anything that was derogatory towards bbw's......she was merely making a point that the post in question seemed to be a little two sided. The point of the forums isn't to insult people.......we all have just as much right to be here and to make our comments without the risk of being put down by other users. I have no idea why they would bother cos it's usually totally obvious and certainly not any sort attraction to us to meet someone who chooses to hide behind someone elses picture. I wised up pretty quickly after the first time I met a girl that wasn't who she had pretended to be, and bought a webcam. If one isn't prepared to meet first on cam then one might be hiding something. Or one might be a guy getting his kicks pretending to be a woman... haha..... I think there are a few of those in here! Fortunately I met the lady in question in a cafe in broad daylight. Her deception? Photo must have been taken 15 years ago, The point is not whether she was young or old, or buxom or petite. The point is she had perpetrated a decent sized lie. The chances of anything else she told me being truthful was not looking good. Like whether she was really single or cheeting on a husband ! Now before some of you jump on me for the cheating remark... If that is what floats your boat go for it... but the thought of a distressed husband sneaking up behind me and shoving a shotgun barrell up my arse while I fornicating with his cheating wife doesn't float mine!

I did have a meeting like that, they had this really nice pic up and when they turned up for the meeting.. it was soo completely wrong different look , different personalilty etc I thanked him for wasting my time and left. My pic's are me, I took them myself although takes 50 million tries to get one that looks pretty. I honestly don't know why people hide who they are.. They get caught out in the end and the only ones they are truely hurting is themselves. They will end up the lonely ones with no one trusting them. Honesty is the hottest thing around. My opinion.

I just dont bother asking for a photo. You cant tell if someone is actually a nice person from a photo ow whether or not you are going to get on sexually. I prefer to exchange messages and have a phone chat and i am rarely wrong!!

Wow I dont know how people could live with the fact that they have been deceitful using a photograph that either isnt them or is years old...I have changed my profile pic 3 times since Ive been on here as my hair keeps changing etc, I endeavour to keep updating as I go along, I would feel so stupid if I met someone in real life & they said "you look nothing like your pic". Yeh... read this thread and thought Why do we bother posting real pics of us (tekematwo) doesnt seem to get us very far. Seems to be a hell of a lot of fakers here on RHP and sorry ladies but from our experiences too, its seems to be the ladies who seem more vain. Males are a dime a dozen here on RHP, but not many genuine women who are truely players (especially for FFM). one day....I had responded to a forum post...and a friend looked at it...only to find the guy that posted after me had put up HIS (my friends') cock shot as his own!!! Well I am one of those you all refer to well I wsa when I first got one this site as a joke I had put my 77yo mothers photo up rather wrinkled to it was very entertain to see the responses ppl were either messaging me to say how sorry they were to see that I had that aging disease or I got flattely abused for lying about my age. The phot was up purely for no ohter reason but entertaining and a lot of people loved it, it was also used to scare unsuspecting room chatters who were a bit rude to others. But was all in fun and for once people were in fact pleasantly surprised to meet me and find a person quite somewhat more attractive. Eventually unfortunately some people found it neccessary to get me banned because of the pic. It was never posted to make me out to be someone I wasnt I have a very warped sense of humour and thought in actual fact it portrayed that side of me perfectly.

In risk of sounding ignorant did you take it?Fun to pick the ones of the women who use the photo's of adult filmstars, but always hard to point it out publicly having to then out your knowledge of porn.And on topic, i have had the experience of women doing it to me.However it wasn't the case of the photos clearly being a well known celebrity/bod, more or less of her friend.Why i know is because when i met the girl she was with the friend and naturally it made things awkward when i went to the "wrong" girl.Not to sound like i only rely on looks but i had to finish it up there. Our most interesting experience was meeting a couple for coffee, where there profile said they were in their 30's attractive, caucasian. We saw their lovely pics. We met for coffee and all was correct except that they were Indian. Not that we have an issue with any of that, but they should have put up their own photos and correct facts. And they were very nice and for what it is worth very attractive.

I had to sort through some trifle to get here.My personal faves are cars in the background with left hand drive, OS number plates or cars that we don't even get here. i have been catch by a profile pic that was not a ture pic of the people the lady i meet had a pic which from asking her at the time was 9 years old of a pretty red hair in a sexy outfit and upon meet her she was wearing a old single no bra and had lost half her teeth and find 100 kg is was very hard and made mty feel like i was lair too. so if people plan to put up pics please make them real and from is year.

My pics are genuine - they are of me , i don't see any point in uploading fake pics - cause if you meet that person in person - they will tell right away - of course ! if in doubt - the old " i will believe it when i see it " saying applies here. I always ask for a cam >>> if no cam - then no go ! simple as that .

lovingcouple4u, it's very sad that they had to lie about their race but I think some of the minorities have it pretty hard. I've talked to a lot of Asian (S.E. Asian as well as Asian) friends of mine and they always talk about how they find it very difficult to meet people of a different racial background to them online. There seems to be this stigma when it comes to Asians. A lot of people aren't interested in talking to them just because of their race. The same for Aborigines. It's very unfortunate.I personally prefer white guys, I must admit... but I'm quite aware of how it feels to be knocked back just because of the colour of my skin so I try to reply to their messages.Don't get me wrong.. I'm not trying to defend what they did or anything; I'm just saying that it can't be easy.Sorry - I digress from the thread topic.I was lied to by a guy who gave me one set of naughty pics, only to tell me to delete them because he didn't want them floating around on the internet, and then a few weeks later send me what I assume were his real pictures and they were two completely different people. Um, hello. I may not have kept the first batch of photos, but I'm not a moron. If you had olive skin in the first set, and then pale skin with freckles on the next, I'm going to notice.

So I am reading this post, as I am procrastinating from Uni studies lol.. and some of you guys are quite funny I must say! But on the topic, I have met some real head fuks shall we say.. Im in no way the best looking girl around, but I do put my own pics up.. and as another member said... of course I put what I consider to be my best pics...who wants to look at scraggy me right? ... I have had the misfortune of talking to a 'guy' who completely blew me away for about 6 mnths (emails, msn..and yes even phone calls!).... then out of nowhere I found out it was actually a girl... talk about feeling like you were hit by a bus. The thing is.. no one can really imagine or feel the things that someone who has been deceived in such a way does. It really made me become quite an untrusting and almost afraid of using internet mediums and the like... until I realised that there are plenty of genuine people out there...just like me... and I guess it just taught me to be a little more guarded and mindful that sometimes people are out to cause trouble..or maybe they are just fuked themselves! So to relate back to the topic.. I think people should just be honest...put ur own pic up... there are real people out there waiting to meet you...if you really are YOU... whats the point in trying to pretend ur some size8 model..if u feel the need to pretend to be this...you may be missing out on guys who appreciate you for being bustier/curvier/bbw ...so you're trying to 'tap into a market' if you like..of guys that you're only going to be disapointed with... whereas is you put ur real pic up..and you catch someones eye... you can be sure that they are interested in YOU... not just the size8 model pic. And thats not to insult the women out there who have size8 bods... we're all different... because a world full of clones would be boring! Can't believe how many six packs the guys on here have ! Makes me feel inadequate- real but inadequate nonetheless. Treat4utoo, i haven't ever perused the male populous of this site but i'll take your word for it But trust me six packs are a bitch to maintain, i keep myself active throughout winter by playing competitive team sports and thus don't let myself go too much in the winter when i stop doing the hardyards When it comes to summer i do have to work very hard to get it back up to something worth calling a six pack and by the time the beach season is over you become pretty over it. But that's just me. -> As far as putting up fake pictures it does affect both of you and you'd think that once they've been caught they might learn a lesson...P.S. well , its highly common from both men and women,pretending to be somthing that their not, its the same as when you actually meet them, a little extra padding for the women generally equals large and obese,and for the guys in all honesty i have found them to be far more honest than the women, but height is what usually catches them out and appendage size, is usually incorrect

Indian people are Caucasian. It's not about the colour of your skin, but your face and skull structure. But still.. I get where you're coming from. I met a lady once who was about 15 years older than her profile and about 15kgs heavier. It wasn't until she actually met me that she thought she might tell me that it was her 'friend's profile' and she was 'checking it while she was away' But, she was a lucky lady, cos at the time I just wanted the experience of meeting a total stranger for sex and didn't really care if she was who she said she was. Yes ive come across a few on here,n its stuck out like dogs balls oops..sorry if its not lady like of thing to say.haha..such as the face doesnt match the body eg face is pale n the body is tanned? or one fellow had 3 different pics as on profile n in P/G n a different one on msn thus me thinks what else where they hidding.But hows this for form....2 people using the same profile!!funny thing was i had read the profile after being sent a flirt...then a chat request from this person.then whilst chatting a bell rang...things didnt seem to add up like" about me" but i gave the person benefit of a doubt a such as in maybe change of job etc.But it wasnt till i had a exchange greetings( even then a bell went off ) one day in chat (yet thinking it was the same person) gave me their msn.Boy what a shock i got as it turned out that it wasnt the same person.

Now I asked permission from my bestie if I could post this so here goes... I'm not defending people who lie and post fake pics but I think sometimes there are exceptions. My bestie (some of you know her) has done this, post fake pics. It wasn't because she wanted to lie or be deceitful it was simply because she hated herself, she didn't have alot of self confidence about how she was then to let others see her or know the real her. As long as I have known her she has had some weight on her but I no way see her as "fat" I hate that word. She is now how she was when I first met her many years ago, she is happy in love and in control of her weight now. I recently read a letter she wrote discussing all her feelings about what she calls her "low time" and seriously it had me in tears. She said she didn't come on here to fall in love or meet the man of her dreams, but she did and she fell hard for this guy. Her lie was soon found out and she has paid the ultimate price, she suffered such a bad broken heart, she lost the man she loved and felt so ashamed for so long. But this story has a happy ending, she is now in love with a supercool guy who loves her for her curves. But the most important thing is she is confident with herself now to show her real self so that others can love her for who she is and for all her sexy curves cause she is mega hot!! She showed someone the real her last night and the boost of confidence she felt from his good response, well lets just say she is glowing a bit today and I can tell shes in a good mood because someone other then her bf accepts her for being the sexy biatch she is. Just wanted to say there are things in life that get people down and she was down, deep down below that level and she felt so insecure that she used a lie to cover up her constant hurting. Some people I know do this to deceive others but this was not her intention, she was just a woman that was hurting case of stuff happening in her life and she hated herself for the weight she had on her at that time, shame is such a powerful emotion. We use lies sometimes to cover up hurt or hurting others but in the end the people we do hurt I guess is just ourselves. She has suffered enough for this. I love this girl, she is my best friend, my"sister" and without her my life would not be what it is today. So I guess I am saying is there is a hidden message in some people who do post fake pics, they need to love themselves more and be confident in showing others how wonderful they are, don't hide the real you, you will be surprised how many will love you for the real you. It seems to me that everyone that has actually met people on this site, (or similar), have a story to tell. I have a couple. I don't get it either, why would do it you if you have any intention of meeting? Your first line has to be "well you still haven't found what your looking for" My photos? I intend to get a good butt shot and post it public soon. I might ask the neighbour to hold the camera for me.

Its happened to me a couple of times. Once i was contacted by a very hot lady on here (shoulde have been suss then lol) she sent me a message with her hotmail addy saying she wanted to do all sorts of things (obviously not the smartest still missed that) I decided to put her msn into facebook and see what came up. Without being nasty she was nothing at all like her pics represented a pic of a wilderbeast would have been closer.... Only last week i came across a profile of a fem that was using modelling shots of my best friend claiming she was a female seeking females. I reported the profile but also messaged all the females in her friends list to let them know they had been conned.....

Well mine are me. They aren't great, so nobody would be silly enough to nick them either. I figure anyone can have a look and decide for themselves if they find me interesting. Like most have said though what is the point in not posting a recent pic or even one that's not of you,if things go as planned then you're left trying to explain the difference. Hey everyone...Just had a giggle reading your comments and spent some time nodding in agreement. I am a member of another worldwide dating site and they have a photo rating system.You get photos to rate, be it profile pics or album shots and soooo many are of actors/models/celebrities..You can report them as fake pics and luckily action is taken.Dunno if that's the way here. I haven't been here long enough to learn this site!My pics are real. I can't imagine putting up fake pics and then arranging to meet someone.. oh the shame!!I just wonder WTF is going through a person's mind when they knowingly put up a pic, then chat to someone, then meet them... don't they have any shame??*shakes head*

I have seen rampant misuse and misrepresentation on the internet and particularly on dating sites. I've met a number of women who look nothing like the photo and most times it was them. One particular skill is to hold the camera high above their head which can make a size 20 look a size 12 if done right and the boobs are big enough, couple that with some makeup and a good hair day and you may be lured into meeting who you think is Geena Davis but turns out to be Rosanne Barr. Apart from the view from the roof, I am particularly suspicious of body part pics and pics that have left hand drive cars in them. Although I'm a very friendly and relaxed person I am a natural cynic and pretty good at spotting the fakes these days. I think this kind of behaviour generally comes from very lonely insecure people and instead of just bailing or ripping it up them about their fibs, encourage them to be honest. Don't be so quick to judge if you haven't walked a mile in someones shoes, it's just some of your time and not like they've robbed your house and stolen your dog.

Okay, first time poster so be gentle ... This topic is near and dear to my heart, I would comfortabley say one third of the women I have met from various sites have blantantly lied about something, mostly age (yes I know, not relevant to this topic) but quite often pics. I now have a bit of a routine established. If I make contact with someone, we chat on MSN. If they don't have a cam, I will ask for photos to be displayed and explain why! If they do have a cam and refuse to turn it on - end of chat, they are hiding something. I know I am a little rare here, I read profiles, and many times the description in the profile doesn't come close to matching the photo's. I remember one profile that the woman's pic showed her with her son (he face was blacked out), according to her profile, she was 5'11" - well if that was the case, her son would have been over 7' tall going by the pic lol They way I see it, if it is good enough for me to put REAL pictures up, and lets face it, I am no oil painting, more like an oil spill - they can to. To me, if they lie about the photo - what else are they lying about? I must be doing something right though, nearly every woman I have met has made the comment that I was exactly liked they imagined me to be, both physically and personality wise. Now some didn't mean that as a compliment but I took it as one!

I met a guy off here that, while the picture was of him, misrepresented himself by about 5 years and 20kg. I chatted to him but nothing happened, it wasn't about the weight but the fact somebody had been dishonest with me which left a bad taste in my mouth.
