Using a iPad in chatrooms

January 04 2013

Hi I've just got a iPad and thought I would have a bit of fun in the chatrooms on cam ,but the cam won't work due to it not having adobe installed ,iPad does not support this apparently , any ideas if there's another app I can use in place of adobe ?

Really? That is weird. I am sure someone can help you with that. I don't have an iPad myself. :(

There were issues with memory use and bugs, and Apple never supported it to begin with. There are some web-browser apps available with limited flash capability (disclaimer: I haven't tried them myself...just done a google search 'cos I'm gonna need one..)Apps that keep popping up are: PuffinSkyFirePhoton FlashBrowse2GoiSwifterSome are free, some will cost ya.

I will check those out , be good to know though if anyone had had the same trouble and which one they downloaded before I pay for one that don't work Damn ipad :( thought it would be the way to go with all the techology these days but obviously not , stick to a laptop if your consider buying a new computer is my advice . :)

Will look at those apps thanks , it's a bit disappointing when you think the ipad is so advanced but won't do a simple thing like this ! Oh well I will just have to be a good girl until I can work it out lol :)

The problem isn't so much that iOS hasn't ever supported Flash. It's the fact that the web developers, or management just got an off the shelf flash based chatroom applet, and shoved it in here. It's the cheapest option for them.Hopefully they'll see the demand soon and maybe implement a html5 chatroom with video support.
