  Don't worry, this is really common. If you want to really get to the bottom of this i'd suggest seeing a good sex (relationship) therapist/psychologist.It is believed many women have in place psychological/emotional barriers to physical pleasure, that operate at a very subconscious level. In other words, these subconscious 'inhibitors' restrict a vaginal orgasm to about 10% of its full potential or even prevent it all together. No one can prove the exact purpose for this 'mechanism' but its theorised it has something to do with your subconscious not wanting you to 'fall in love' too quickly, lol - but thats up to speculation!This is all pretty normal stuff - and anything that operates at a subconscious level is not your fault, so dont feel 'bad'!In terms of clitoral stimulation, just from my experience I think there's a big difference between this kind of climax, and a full vaginal orgasm - but then again, i'm not a woman so i'm not an expert!!

  Pleasure and orgasm for a woman can come from many different levels........... DO NOT beat yourself up over the fact that you 'think' you can't orgasm from vaginal penetration......   I once only orasmed this way never even questioned it, but if you experiment and play with a vibe for a while you will find out that vaginal orgasm can be reached with different angles especially when it hits your G-Spot. Some womens cervixs are angled different and so some enjoy doggy whilst others do not. I challenge you to see if you can resist that urge to rub that clit. There was another hint way back which told of rubbing different sides of your clit now that is amazing.

  I have had a great deal of experience studying tantra as well as sexual health as a psychologist if it is distressing you then definitely try to see someone about it. Earlier comments are right, it is common but something you might be able to change. I would first of all try not to think about the need to achieve an orgasm as a goal and try to enjoy the intimacy of being in the moment with your lover... Anxiety about whether or not you cum and your partners fears of not giving you that climax will undoubtedly add to your barriers. I have worked with couples many times and had great success so have faith it is something you can achieve.

  This post is close to home. I'm well past 23 years and have the same problem, still. To those women who do have vaginal orgasms, it can be very hard to explain how it feels to come oh so close but never get there. Even when sex is exquisite and astonishing, I still never get there. Clitoral orgasms are lovely, really lovely, but I lament the other.Still, with big love and passion, and the care of a great man, I experienced many firsts.
