Two Mamas want to know how to get started

Hi guys n girls,My friend and I are looking to hit the "friends with benefits" scene. We're both straight and we've both been out of the dating scene for at least as long as our children are old. Whilst we are not raving beauties anymore, we are not dogs either. We're both intelligent and professional women but I kind of doubt that the experiences we are looking for will need scintillating conversation lol. For safety's sake, we are going out together this Saturday night to try to have fun and meet men (either young or our own age). We don't even know where to go or how to begin.... For example, if there is somebody we meet that we like, do we have to scope for a girlfriend before we approach and talk to them? What's the protocol for asking someone out? What do we need to know about friends with benefits? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks :)

A bit of pot luck I guess. You will get those with girlfriends and wives but then you will find plenty of singles here as well. Just enjoy yourselves.

I just had a quick look at your profile and what you have written here...and probably just a matter of gettting out there and having fun. Everything else looks like it will work for you...with just one quick thought? Don't overthink it...some women are good at that. You never know what you might just find if you are looking for it and as always, it will be in the last place you look. | Enjoy.

the look is fine.....but please dop the line about dogs..... no one deserves to be banded with lovely name such as that.....Now then, it hasnt changed....relax..... gab a fella on hee that looks to you ok.... isnt an axe mudeer and doesnt still live with mum......and fuck him till he begs to be let go home......thee !!.that was easy....LOL!!. ok peeps, reporting back on the night out! Fun with my friend. Went to lots of bars and the casino and did so much perving that I was a puddle of lust by the end of the night. However, I must have been doing something wrong as nobody even so much as looked my way. No eye contact at all. And all the hot guys seemed to be with a woman! LOL Where do all those young men who want older women hang out? What does it take just to have a chat with a guy in public? L.G.

younger guys generally don't go out to the casino until 3 or 4 am when all the other pubs close, but maybe they should because thats where older women go, maybe one question that could be asked where do all the older woman who like younger guys go? then the younger guys can go there lol

I know where you are at. I am in Adelaide on holiday for only a week more & so far have been out only a few times without any of my old friends. Each time I feel like the oldest person in the pub & when I do try to talk to women I get the cold shoulder. I am not looking for the "sugar Babe" girls, just real, honest women around my age group (35 -45) Women who know how to carry on a conversation about more than clothes & know that life is too short to take it too seriously. As Nate asked, where do the real women go to. I don't gamble so hadn't thought of the Casino, but might have to give it a try. Any hints ladies. By the way, Librarian Girl, you have a truly beautiful face. Any man should be more than happy to join you in a conversation over a drink. (in my humble opinion)

Thanks NBN. i've met quite a few young men who want to know where the older women are. I can't speak on their behalf but i think they are at home. I wonder how many older women know that guys are looking for them? I certainly didn't until i found RHP. Actually, i only know two single women.

Well LG, if you care for a casual drink/meal with no strings let me know. I am only down in Adelaide for another 4 1/2 days then it is back home to work for me. So far Adelaide is living up to it's sleepy reputation (but it has been SO good to sleep in every day & the cold weather is a welcome change for this tropical boy)
