Like the OP, if I'm leading an expedition south of the border, call me a corporate slave, but I prefer a clean shaven ready for business look, than someone apparently inspired by a hipster's face. Is it the measure from thumb tip to little finger tip? Wedges: aesthetically, to my eye, when viewed from the side I find they tend to look needlessly chunky - whether a tall wedge or a low wedge. While I don't have a shoe fetish, I tend to like 'delicate', finely designed heels. Some women have said they're more comfortable, but I think that is a different aspect of the shoe, since for two shoes of identical height profile, strapping, etc the only difference the foot can 'see' is if there is a difference in sole rigidity. (Thinking of ways to create comfortable tall heels is a background interest)

You go Glen Coco! Don't eat the kalteen bar - they make you gain weight like crazy! My measurement of large hands is hands that are bigger than mine. I don't have dainty hands. If I'm palm to palm and guy's fingers are a knuckle longer than mine then I'm happy. Any more and 😍 And sole rigidity is important for stability. Which is why wedges tend to be more comfortable. They usually also have a some sort of base on the sole, unlike a dainty heel which has a very thin sole. I find it strange walking in wedges, I prefer the heel to toe rolling sensation rather than the rigid arch position making contact with the ground. No commenting on my lack of walking ability in heels :)
