  So if as a female you played in the junior leagues, featured in some private/public display matches--were praised for natural talent yet declined the offers to go professional-because they just couldn't provide all that you needed or wanted--in retirement does that make you a "decommissioned ecstatic", "non-practising-ecstatic", "closet ecstatic" or "lapsed ecstatic"?
