I've heard the saying however.... Only thing about ink I dislike is the majority of wankers that get tribal ink, yet have no affiliation. Yes I have ink, you'd look twice and say "how did I miss that"

I regret the one on my back, it was done by an amateur at best. It's been fixed now but it's position affects the rest of the work I want done.

I have plenty, got my first at 22, next 1 at 40 and in the last year I've got 2 half sleeves, inside of my forearm on 1 arm, one in my ear, couple on my fingers, 1 behind my ear, couple on my back and 1 on my chest.... Don't regret any of them, they all mean something, its my story in pictures. I've had many people ask me if I'm worried about when I get older and how they age. My response is they will age just like the rest of me....💋 - Posted from rhpmobile

I have three tattoos. Every one of them has very very special meaning to me. I chose wisely for me. If you look at my pics you can see the one on back of neck. It's a sign of infinity with " love" ...that's how much I love my daughter plus a little bit more. No regrets what so ever!! Foxy

..in fact, I'm proud of most of them...some was stencilled from original drawing of my own, some was from a painting by my late father…and I'm content with with the rest.I prefer mine to be reasonably discreet..I'm not interested in sleeves, neck orleg jobs..and I don't subscribe to the school of " Each of my Tattoo's represents animportant part of my life" thinking. It's just art on skin.I consider it in much the same way as when I used to dye my hair differentcolours. As that option is no longer available to me these days, it's just another way of changing my appearance now and then to please myself. What I do regret is that I didn't know at first that all tattoo artists are not equal..oreven capable. My first purchases need fixing and would never be what I envisioned.Lesson learned...

My first tattoo's WERE fixed..but it wasn't easy finding a good artist who waswilling to take on a repair job. And even then it was a compromise.

I got my paw print tattoo 2 weeks after I turned 21. At the time it was a pretty impulsive decision and I honestly didn't put much thought into my tattoo. All I knew was that I wanted a small one for my first one as I have a massive needle phobia lol. Over time my paw print has actually become connected to my nickname Taby so in a way it has actually become meaningful to me and it will always remind me of my time on RHP as Taby. I do plan to get a second tattoo when I complete my university degree as a celebration to advertise that I proved everyone wrong and actually completed my degree'. I even decided on a Latin phrase I want to get integrated into the tattoo. 'Fortune favours the brave' which has great meaning to me. This tattoo will also have a vine with thorns. So no I don't regret my tattoo and I don't wish to get it removed :) Taby xx

I love my tattoo and have no regrets of getting it at all... but I suggest to ppl that if they are thinking of getting a tattoo, make sure that you get what it is that you really want and on your body where you really want it....

Great advice! It took me 6mths or more to decide my tattoos were what I really wanted. Even With my daughter as well, waited quite a few months before I gave the all clear. I know several people who put of the blue, walked into tattoo studio, spare of the moment thing and regretted it 12mths later. Foxy

The one on my ankle I regret a little. Its a blue butterfly with black swirly things. If I forget to moisurise it looks dry and yuck. The one on my hip I love its my daughters name and birthdate, the only problem now is if I ever hook up with someone they know my daughters name. This is something I probably wouldn't want to share.

I have a couple I got then when I was younger and I still am happy to have them. I wouldn't get more , they don't mean anything special or have any great significance to me I just wanted them at the time and still like what I see. Personally I don't like them to be visible (mine) when dressed for work or on the weekends, I don't need to show mine off to others and I wouldn't never have one that runs up my neck or down past my sleave. Each to their own / but you do see some people covered in scribble and wonder if it might affect their employment prospects. I say that because I have thrown applications in the bin before because the applicant looked like a scrap book and that look just wont fit in where I would require them to be.

I have no tattoos and in my generation and circle of friends it definitely makes me the odd one out. A friend of mine had a small star tattooed on her face just below her eye when she was a teenager (the "artist" who did this to a teenage girls' face should be kicked in the nuts/vag IMHO). It cost her about $150 and now she's spending about $1000 to have it removed in 5 painful laser sessions only a few years later. Expensive mistake that everyone can see. I know plenty of friends who regret their tattoos, and unlike that other lifetime promise that people so flippantly change their mind on, you can't divorce a tatt. Think before you ink.

all on my back including a "Tramp Stamp" and don't regret any of them, they were all inked at meaningful times in my life. I would like one or two more...maybe.

have three tattoos, and one of them I don't particularly like anymore. It's not a huge deal since it's very small and in an area that's not normally visible, but I'd like to get it incorporated into a different design one day when I can afford it. Like wowwow I prefer to get tattooed in places that aren't visible when I'm dressed, mainly because I'm studying to be an allied health professional and visible tatts can be an issue, particularly for some types of clients.

Attitudes have changed a lot over the last few years, more and more employers don't care about tattoos. I find in my industry that a few tats create something of a talking point and help me "bond" for want of a better word with the average punter. From some people's point of view, instead of being a straight, authoritarian figure, I become "one of the boys" thereby reducing some potential conflicts. It might sound a little far fetched but I've seen it and live it nearly everyday.

I've only got the one. Took me years to decide what I wanted. Thought about getting the kids names and birthdates, but I'm pretty sure I won't forget either in a hurry haha. - Posted from rhpmobile

I have a full back, large side/hip piece all custom originals, and a small one on my wrist. I have no regrets. Done tastefully and following the natural curves of a body they can be very sexy, but so can a cleanskin. - Posted from rhpmobile

I have a unicorn on my lower back at waist level, my Fairy wings and in the process of having a 3/4 sleeve done on my left arm. The wings and arm are my design and I took my time with them, it is permanent after all. Next will be right ankle, addictive once you've started!

I've four at the moment and I am planning one or two more at least. I have only one small regret. The one on the top of my arm I wish I'd gotten a bit smaller and put on my shoulder blade as originally decided instead of the arm.

... for a long time. The design has so much meaning for me, BUT I just can't work out where to put it. 10 years, still deciding! - Posted from rhpmobile

I regret my back piece, not so much the tattoo itself but it's design and conception. Long story short I had a design full of meaning to me that I designed myself, as an artist I loved my design but it didn't translate well to tattoo. Asked the tattoo artist to play with it and make it work. Sadly the guy was an old school bikie type artist and he pretty much carbon copied it onto my back. So my regret is more who I had do it I guess. - Posted from rhpmobile

Lovinit28, you say you have a chest tattoo, but your profile pic shows you as a clean skin, hope you update soon, :P I love tattoo's always have. Be it on myself or others. Got my first aged 17 then 18, 41, and 2 at 42. I do not regret them at all, would love to have the one on my arse changed though, tattooist was unbeknownst to me a little trashed..... it's behind me so I don't mind it lol, I don't have to look at it, and a nice sized hand can cover it if it offends :P, but on a more serious note, each of my tattoo's has a story behind them, they are part of me and personal. I don't have them to impress or attract attention. I will probably get more, they're addictive to say the least. My tattooist in pinjarra closed shop, shame...... so I'm seeking a new one. Any suggestions ??

Jack at 5 star in Freo is good, also if you're looking for something with a lot of detail, There's a studio in Byford, I can't remember the name but the tattooist name is Josh and he is fucking fantastic! - Posted from rhpmobile

My first one was done Sept last year.. just a small infinity symbol on the inside of my left wrist... the next one is booked in for April 26, would have liked it to be done on the day of my birthday which is this Friday that's out *sigh* It will be a tree of life on my shoulder/scapula area with butterflies instead of leaves on the tree and will have some flying away torward the nape of my neck... can't wait!!!! already planned my third one and have an idea of my fourth but that's still a work in progress! and I know I won't regret any of them, even when i get older and wrinklier :)

I only have 4 (1. Angel on my calf, 2. My husbands name on the inside of my forearm, 3. Dragon on my shoulder blade, 4. A beautiful womans face with long hair and roses on my other forearm & font on my knuckles - my biggest piece, she represents the 7 deadly sins) & my next tat apt is in June (neck/throat).....And they all tell a story and mean something, I personally love having ink to tell parts of my life, people gasp at the "hubbys name" tat especially which I always roll my eyes at, even if the impossible happened and we split, I still wouldn't regret it, 20 years Ive been with this dude - married 14 years, 5 kids together...happy as larry!!! Anyway INK IS HOT ......when its not a $5 nasty job Mrs_AJ

I only have one small piece of script. BS however is heavily inked. He's been collecting them since he was a teen. Some 'club' related, some in memory of lost family and friends. All meaningful. K xx - Posted from rhpmobile
