Oral sex now leads the cause of oral cancer in America, according to a study. Oral sex could be hazardous to your health. So say researchers who note that oral cancer stemming from the human papilloma virus is more common in the U.S. than oral cancer caused by abusing tobacco. Researchers found a 225% increase in oral cancer cases in the U.S. from 1974 to 2007, mainly among white men, said Maura Gillison, a cancer researcher at Ohio State University. The more oral-sex partners a man had, the greater his cancer risk, Gillison told a meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Tobacco use remains the leading cause of oral cancer in the rest of the world. There as many as 150 different types of human papilloma viruses, and about 40 of those can be sexually transmitted, according to the National Cancer Institute. HPV infections often go undetected and are the main cause of cervical cancer in women. Scientists are examining whether Gardasil and Cervarix, the HPV vaccines approved to prevent genital warts and cervical cancer, could have a significant impact on oral cancer. In the meantime, researchers are urging doctors and educators to start talking to teens in particular about the risks of oral sex.

    Is that gonna stop be giving head? NO WAY! I think I will take the risk. It is the same risk factor as having sex with the man anyway. If he is clean enough to fuck...he is clean enough to suck!

There is actually one that survives very well even under the best of sterile enviroments that you can get via a tattoo needle...even better that it can remain dormant for anywhere from 2 to 7 years before turning your rose into a weed. | Again though...statistics of any kind can be skewed to the audience and not perhaps as dramatic as they may sound? Over a 33 year period, by example, in a country with around 350,000,000 people if the reported case numbers went from 500 in 1974 to 1250 in 2007, the numbers would be correct but I would want to know more about the baseline of the research and who was doing it and for what reason. If the idea was to promote sexual awareness in teens...I am all for it and let's tell them all it causes blindness until they are at least 18 (or of legal age in the country of residence) and makes hair grow in the palms of your hands. | I do know one statistic that is true for me personally? If I go too long without it either giving or getting... | ...it definitely causes insanity. | Please help promote mental health...give a friend a blow job.

    I think it'd be foolish to go jumping to conclusions, after just one study... further study should definitely be undertaken - so purely in the interest of science and medicine, I am happy to volunteer as a test subject. If there's anyone reading this post from the research department of a hospital or university, please email me to discuss some possibilities.......

I'd feel a bit weird if I were to say that I'd try my absolute hardest to get cancer! I think it'd be a better stance to take if I could claim that after hours upon hours of going down on women, (for the sake of science of course), I am cancer free...
