I close the door.Unless youve requested that she perform her toilet functions all over you during sex...... is it really a big issue that she retains that little bit of privacy that she has always afforded herself?DG

Yup......even after 23 years of marriage i still closed the door. The reason.....because there are some things a man just doesn't need to know! I also don't shave my legs, fart, wax anything, pluck eyebrows....in fact any kind of maintainence in front of a man.....and again, because i believe we need to maintain some mystery. Something many women forget is how to be a lover...... Don't feel bad about it, it's a compliment.

If ever you go into a ladies loo ,you will see a row of toilet doors.Women are not accustomed to peeing in front of each other.We are socialized to pee in private.

I hate peeing in front of anyone, regardless how long I've known them or how many times I've had sex with them. I suppose it's largely a social conditioning thing, as Freya said women are mostly used to peeing in private since that's how we've done it since we were kids. But also for us girls it's a bit more involved than for guys...you gotta do the wipe as well...it's just really not something I want an audience for

Have you ever wandered why women goes in twos in there??? Holy flippin Mackrel!!! One goes in shuts the door the other stands outside and guards the door as we want privacy..... I agree, but also add, a friend of mine mentioned that the only time her husband left her alone was in the bathroom......For some people its their only escape and its a place of privacy, and I seriously would rather let that part of the relationship stay seperate. I am also a door shutterer, because growing up in a family of woman I have developed a toilet complex, and do not want the other person to hear my business! whether its a trickle or a plop. Even when I was in a long term relationship and especially after sex, I would go to the toilet down the hallway, so not to ruin the mood.

There are just some things in life people do alone. Peeing is one of them in my view as well...don't forget too, if a lady wishes to change her sanitary pad(clearly this wasn't the case after sex), but surely they're entitled to a little privacy??

Some of us keep our phones locked. Other's like separate bank accounts. Many don't like to share a shit.I think it's reasonable to want to keep a little bit of one's own self 'private'.And Miss P is right... it's poo and wee. I've cleaned enough of that up in my life, I'd prefer not to know about my playmate's.

I find if you are truly comfortable.... peeing at least with the door open is of no concern.........its just that she may be unsure of how you would feel about it. I found myself in that situation the other day with a friend where I went to leave the door open but then was unsure of how he may react.Its not really that big of a deal Mspoppins its only wee...ffs we all do it. (just not over everyone else)

Closed, I think it would be creepy if a lover stood there and watched me. I would at least expect them to tell me they had a fetish before doing so and then even that would depend, definitely not on number two's. Lids down, clean loo, the roll going over not under and never ever leave droplets on the floor, vile a personal pet hate.

Funny Stuff ! For the record , I always put the toilet seat down when I'm done . I've been well trained . As for the toilet paper under or over . I've seen many girls put it under , whereas I've seen many guys put it over ??? Is it a Gender thing ? But I digress ... I agree that #2 is a personal endeavour but , being Male (& having the ability to piss anywhere, anytime) I don't see what the big deal is with #1 . After raising my son who, as a toddler, hardly let go of my leg for nearly 4 years. I know what it feels like when you can't even have a shit in peace.I am now very territorial about my toilet time. I was raised on a farm during my new beginnings into this crazy world, which meant I had to master the Thunder box.For you youngies .. not a pretty thing and by hell you never shut the door. The view was always to nice. At night though we use to sprint faster than Flash Gorden to the thunderbox, do our business and bolt straight back to the comfort of our beds. Drop bears were alive and well back then as well! I have the door ajar, opened and closed. All alone at home - wide open. Out of respect to others - ajar to closed.After a hot session of sex - open. Reminds of a time a lover followed me in, watched while I twinkled and then wiped me. Something I had never done before and didn't think anything of it except a nice gesture. I said thank you. I guess growing up in the bush makes us a little less inhibited.

Lol @ inspirit and her recollections of growing up in the country and the ole thunderbox...... yes they werent very inviting places, with redbacks never invited but seemingly always around....oh and the "purfume" of them was just "wonderful" at times. Of course there was really nothing like a lemon tree for the boys...... Toilet seats down, paper folded under....it rips more cleanly.....door shut for #2 and when guests are around Glad I don't need to go 2x2 ......I can handle mine alone.......unless there is......hehehe Lets

Shut or ajar, for urination. Shut for the other, I do some of my best reading while on the throne. And I like to preserve a little mystique, last thing you want is the memory throwing up certain images at inappropriate times, it can kill the ardour. I close the door even when I'm home alone haha - habit of a lifetime that has been ingrained, I guess. I prefer to have a bit of privacy, and like Freya has pointed out already - women in public toilets have cubicles to hide behind, we're not used to relieving ourselves of bodily functions in front of other people. I don't understand the girls that insist on carrying on with their conversations over the cubicle wall while they're at it :/

the door would mostly be open when we were peeing but it would be closed for the other.........although the door would be unlocked and we were free to come and go. lol. Say for instance, someone wanted something from the bathroom, we were free to go in and get it or brush your teeth or so on. My ex would always come in and discuss things with me which always amused me. OF ALL THE TIMES TO DO IT!!! lol.

EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. Unfortunately not all women are carbon copys (thank god their not, but it would be a time saver). if your curious about why, you ask her! Not a bunch of strangers who have next to no background on your individual relationship. of the ladys i know, most (not all) are private about it....however.... others show off, some use it to tease and a small minority do it on your face. So the only person who can answer this is your very own door closer. P.s. Its funny how women love to generalize their very own. "we are all individuals!"

Having a piss - no problem... but picture this... Sitting on the throne... trying to squeeze one out... with a hint of constipation on your face... eventually you relax enough to drop the kids at the pool... when they dive in they make the biggest splash possible... everything gets wet... try wiping your ass now without that sheepish look on your face. Hell yes... some things are just meant to be private - close the door.
