Threesome with Google home.

February 09 2019

Recently put our Google Home Device in the bedroom so we can hear the news and weather in the mornings. We got a bit of a shock this one time. While we were doing the business and Miss Do was going down on Mr Do, suddenly, Google home lady pipes up and says "Sorry, I don't know how to help you with that". We just looked at each other and laughed but also thought WTF??? The fact you are meant to say "Hey/OK Google" to activate it made it even more creepy. Anyone else had a similar thing happen to them? - Posted from rhpmobile

The first time I ever tried the OK Google thing (in this case on my smartphone), the first thing I thought to say was "piss off!". Accordingly the response was quite apt: repeating what I said to confirm, then giving me the relevant definition. So Google's response was "piss off, get lost". :)

Don’t have google home but I’ve said the word “seriously” a few times then been told by Siri on my iPhone, “sorry, I missed that, here’s some of the things you can ask me...” Fuck off Siri, you creep me out...but also I’m a bit of an exibitionist so don’t go away, just don’t be so obvious about it, geez!! 🤣

Not that I am the paranoid type or anything, but after reading a book about Ed Snowden and learning that intelligence types can access your phone, laptop, webcam etc remotely pretty much any time they like for any reason they like if they are good enough, I am hesitant to have anything that can record/listen about. I have nothing I would be embarrassed about, and about all they would hear would be me giggling at my own farts from time to time, but I still don't like the idea. But this is from someone who takes his mobile phone out with him if he feels like it.

That is funny. My kids asked the Android auto today "Ok Google, who's better, Google or Alexa?"..... Google's response was, "They're all crap" LOL
