Thinking of all RHP members in the path of Yasi

February 02 2011

I have relatives in Townsville, and so far they're OK, although a little concerned. Hope everyone makes it through safely.

Scary scary stuff, wouldn't want to be there for quids. Heres hoping the loss of life is minimal, Australia has had enough tragedy already for this year.Cheers Nev

Yeah.. it's frightening really. I mean, I'm frightened for them... sitting here like they're sitting there.. unable to do anything about it and waiting. Wishing and hoping.HugsStalky

I have family there too .. in FNQ, and for the first time in a long time...my cousin is not on FB...so we don't know what is happening and the worse hasn't happened yet! And the most worstest bit is...my older brother just moved there 2 weeks ago! My prayers and thoughts with everyone who has family and friends there! xo xFunlovingx

....to what everyone has already said. Watching it on the tele is bad enough, cant even begin to imagine what my friends are going through! Hang on tight QLD.

It's frightening to watch, and must be indescribable to experience. . My thoughts are with everyone up there tonight. I suspect this will be unlike anything Australia has seen before

looks like Queensland has proven to tough for Yasi.Yes, a huge amount of damage, no bananas for a while again, power out, sticks instead of trees, property damage etc.But nowhere near as bad as it could have been!!!!!!!Sooooooo happy to see Yasi didnt inflict the degree of *chomp*that was predicted.Good on you FNQ !Your petticoats were severely ruffled but not flattened.I think I am falling in love with their premier, Anna Bligh....God she has been magnificent! (does the woman ever sleep?)Does that mean I am turning bi in the face of disasters?
