The scent of a ......

May 26 2017

Hi all Th sense of smell is a part of our primitive brain. Certain smells and scents can bring back distant memories - even those childhood memories we thought were long gone. It is a powerful sense. In some people it can help detect blood relatives as well as pheromones of sexual attraction from potential partners. My question - Is there any particular scent/perfume/cologne that whenever you smell it - wherever you may be - that makes you go weak at the knees? Mine is CK1 - oh boy! Makes me weak at the knees and I inhale as much as I can... KH

God I love it when my men wear their signature scents ... that makes me weak at the knees. I love anything Paco Robanne or Mont Blanc 💕💕 Individual, Black XS ( I have their femme versions) Hubby come out of the ensuite the other day, I could've mauled him, he smelt divine. He was going on a date with his new friend so I kept my hands to myself lol. I just asked him what he wore that night so that I could respond to this thread, Versace Blue apparently :) His new friend does have exquisite taste 😝 Mary xx

It's not a pleasant smell but I always found that diesel oil slat water blend when he came home after working on the engines kinda comforting. It's a distinct trawlerman scent, though my ex-husband (a professional line fisherman) used to sport the same scent. Lol and Satan too for that matter 😳 odd that he should come to mind.... Anyway my olfactory is not as finely tuned as I'd like it to be but my knowledge of fragrances is pretty spot on: I love the smell of Poison, Addict, Eden, Giorgio and Red Door are old favourites. On a man I love Spicebomb, Joop! and Boss. But nothing gets me like the scent of my loveliness on his face after a moment and we go out afterwards with that scent still there. She be careful girls when you kiss Roh's face at the upcoming meet and greet....you may just get a hint of what we've been up to. 😂😈 ~ Indy x

I can't say there has been a female scent that has really rattled my cage and I'm not a big wearer of cologne myself, but when I do it's like I get this "game on" feeling. It used to be Joop and I still have some somewhere but a guy who was a serious cunt used to wear it so now I'm well and truly off it, my sex it up fragrance these days is Million by paco rabanne.

...basted turkey roasting in the oven. All the trimmings ready to go and even the smell of the two mince and pumpkin pies are in the air. Knowing full well that will take several hours and my loft will smell fabulous...I've time to grab the hand of my guest of choice and dive back into bed! I never roast a turkey when I'm alone!

I am somewhat obsessed lol I have many favorites, and wishlists (including V&R Flowerbomb & Marc Jacobs Decadance, oh yum!!) and Mary, I have a Mont Blanc Femme too ;) On a man I am a fan of farenheit, and Mr A smells divine when he wears his Opium :)

We get to taste Rohan on Indy's lips as well at the M&g. Or "something about Indy......" with her new hairstyle. Completely off topic that was...... On topic, yes many scents bring back memories. My everyday one I use, Rive Gauche, byYSL, takes me back nearly 40 years, worn by someone before she passed. More recent times, Anais Anais and most recently Flower Bomb. Songs and scents, a powerful means of time travel.....

...then Creed Adventus will leave them on the floor every time. Giving CPR and picking them up is the best part of it all. The scent of post-orgasmic breathing is just slightly shy of the best of a roasted turkey! CM

A and E, I'll bring the femme individual to the Brissie meet :) Feel free to explore for yourself, just linger longer around my neck ;) I mix the Individuale body lotion with a non scented moisturiser and I smell divine, smooth as silk, from head to toe. A light spray of the perfume, and it's all over deliciousness ..... That's what's disappointing about a lot of men's colognes, there's dedodarant or after shave lotions (for a handful of colognes) but theres a lack of body lotions to match. I'd love nothing more than my men smelling from head to toe of the same sent :) Mary xx

Body Wash, Lotion and parfum is always good. Don't discount a fragrance that you like but smells really strong to begin with like Cacharel's Eden or Estée Lauder's Youth Dew and Dior's Poison because those fragrances have "legs" that'll wear and develop further all day 😍 softening to beautiful florals hard to ignore. 😊
