Oh man - I haven't laughed this hard in a long time.... What a conundrum. No matter what anyone here says - you're going to be in the wrong... I'm sure there's a thread here somewhere explaining why. Sweetpetite's right - that's a half-decent salvage. A nice dinner on the 13th, but don't stay out too late - you don't want to miss the start of the cricket the next day!!

Does your cute lil friend know that you see her as being someone you 'kinda, sorta, maybe, perhaps, might' be seeing? I bet if she knew, she may not have rushed out so fast to buy you a gift or gushed so happily to her friends. Anyways, neither of you are in the wrong. This is just another example of men and women not communicatiing openly with one another. At the first mention of V day, you should have brought up the cricket. When are you planning on telling her? lmao Ridge @ you saying kinda sorta started a little bit maybe almost seeing a young lady The reason she is organising everything without "sorta" consulting you is because women pull closer the more men move away. Unfortunately, it takes many mistakes before men and women to work this whole dynamic out. Go to the cricket - it's what you want to do and you had this planned well before she and you kinda sorta maybe got it together :p Offer her the suggestion of the "surprise" picnic on Saturday, or what Jean and roughfukr suggested....dinner or the cricket. She'll probably get the sulks...can't help disappointment. And if she senses for even a nanosecond that you would cancel your cricket....well, you'll just have to struggle with that one. My guess is she'll go for the picnic or dinner...all romantic like! Get jiggy with her...especially at midnight...and then you can look over to the clock and say "well how about that...it's Valentines Day!"...hehe Score Ridgeee!!! I've been married 24 years Ridge and I'd go to the cricket. It's just like the Trumpy. I wouldn't own one if I tried to get permission.... It's just easier to seek forgiveness. Make Valentines Day on Saturday.... it's all good. Tell her the good news tomorrow. By the way, I had to buy her a fireplace because I bought a Trumpy. It was win win.... she stands there in front of the fire with her pretty lil skirt raised. Perfect. The cricket is gonna cost you, so you may as well ensure it's worth it. Hugs Bro, Stalky. The cricket has got to over rule the V day picnic ! Seriously... you can have a picnic any day. Why not sleep with her on Saturday night and give her a Valentines Day back rub or coat her in chocolate sauce then lick it off. Once she's got that satisfied glow on her face give her a sweet kiss on the lips tell her that you are "kinda sorta maybe falling in love with her" then RUN !!!
