The Election

July 28 2010

So who do you all think is gonna win? I think it's probably 50/50 at the moment especially after Laurie Oakes reverlations last night. Labour aint real popular here in QLD and I think they'll loose a few seats here. So whats it looking like in the other states?

Well Labour certainly isn’t so popular here in the West and with the majority of small mining companies being situated W.A & QLD I think it will be tough for them to get up in those states. I hope they don’t get in I would rather a strong economy than a few flashy handouts

Unfortunately one of those 2 parties will win. Personally we'll be voting Australian Sex Party.

Labour is very popular with every one i speak to so iam sure they will get in easy after all there is NO compitition...abbott is a weasal who just makes up stuff as he goes along and shitcans anything the other person says...bit like a 6 year old i dont vote so dont really care... and after the way NSW business men booted Kev rudd out, it shows us it doesnt matter who we vote for...THEY are in control...not us sadly there isnt another real party to vote for ...the sex party now maybe? mmmm hahah

I think Labor will win, but it isn't going to make much difference what I vote seeing as I'm in one of the safest Liberal seats there is - at state and federal levels it has been held by libs ever since the seat was created (up till last election I think it was tone same bloke the whole time too)

A lots been made of this global warming stuff, saying its a major election issue. Well it aint one for me at all,I dont even beleive in it. I reckon the earth goes thru cycles, we have an ice age then it warms up, then we have another ice age and so on and so on. I think our polution has a not so good affect on the earth but I dont beleive it causes global warming. So is it a major election issue for anyone else? The biggest issue for me is the economy, I'm a tradie so I need a growing building industry and it aint that busy up here in QLD at the moment. Another thing, do most chicks not like Tony Abbot and if so, why? Or is this another furfy?

if we could just run a country like a business and not a charity we would all pay less tax. I am completely over being over represented by faceless polititians who do nothing but tax me. Time for state governments to be abolished and just have federal and council levels. all the money saved could be so better spent on real things rather then the re election of governments and there associated staaff.
