I have an auto-reply which makes it pretty clear that if a message is stupid/vulgar/rude or just basically unmatched to my profile they won't hear from me. It works really well - I get to ignore the messages and they get my message, so don't pester me. I find it particularly funny when men write nasty messages and then block as soon as they've pressed send, so I can't reply. Amusing :)

I might have about 80 or so on my list I think. Most of them would be men that I have already said no thank you to on more than one occasion. Why waste my time and their time? I just block them so they can't contact me again. Also cold calls from interstate get blocked immediately if they say they are in town for one or two nights, etc. I can't stand that.

I have 85 on my list, for various reasons. Some don't take the hint, and keep registering interest in my Date Finder dates. I give up! ;-)

Mostly people who have sent more than 10 flirts, some who wouldn't take no for an answer (either via message or in person) and kept persisting, and a few that were looking at my profile so often I started finding them creepy.

I blocked a couple recently after they started sending nasty/abusive messages after I responded to their flirt. I recently blocked a few guys who didn't seem to get the message that I'm not interested. I was blocked (I presume I have been as I can't view their profile) by a couple recently (on an alternative website). Can only assume they were jilted because I didn't respond to a picture they sent me as I was busy being a dad around that time.

I have over 30 people on my block list.... I block people who creep me out, I block people who view my profile more than 3 times and yet do not make contact, I block people who wont take 'No' for an answer. I block people that send endless flirts, I block people that send lame messages, sometimes, not always, I even block the ones that contact me but when I look at their profile they have 'Ask me' listed as a response on their profile ( I think to myself... FFS, its multiple choice, how hard can it be to just pick one) Yep, I'm a 'block happy' kinda girl

Then he still showed up in my real time info box all the time.I unblocked him, and asked him what he was doing. He said he just liked my profile, and didn't think he was looking that often. I re-blocked him, but every now and then he still checks me out.

I don't get that though. When you have been blocked you don't actually see anything when you go to their profile. Why would someone keep doing that? Bizarre.

I have one blocked couple, and a couple of guys who can't read that I'm straight. To this day I'll never understand why one female blocked me. We chatted, got along well, exchanged numbers, organised to meet. She was evidently keen. And then the day we meet she blocks my profile, doesn't respond to my messages and is a no-show at the bar. I'd like to think I'm far from creepy, so I'll never know why she did it.

..and I seem to get plenty of men checking out my profile..usually the same ones. Despite my obvious preference!I'm guessing this is fairly common on a male-heavy site like this. It sounds like the BLOCK button is used to the extreme. I am aware it's there but I hardly thinkit's worth "blocking" people for being curious…even on a semi-regular basis. But I'm talking about them just looking at my profile..if they were bombarding me with flirts and messages I might think about using the magic button, I guess.I might have been blocked once so far, but I'm hardly going to ask…I don't think 2 "Looks" and a brief, polite message in a fortnight qualifies me as a creepy stalker, does it?Each to their own..

I'm curious - if you block someone - can they still see when you log in, read the forums that you post or reply too?? Or does it just block your profile! As on Facebook when you block someone - it's over n out!

I don't know if they can see when you log in (don't think so), but they can still read all your posts. . So be mindful of what you say.
