  I sent a text that was meant for my bf at the time to my dad.......he asked me to explain myself, and boy did he give me a hard time, in the end I ignored him, the second time I sent him another text meant for the boyfriend, dad sent me a txt back saying "you really ought to be careful with these text messages" But, then sometime ago, a guy I was in a relationship with sent a text message to me that was meant for another lady he was cheating on me with.....that was one text I was glad to have received :)

  I don't think so. . Though years ago when I ended up sleeping with a good friend I suffered a similar embarrassment. In the morning, after he left, my phone rang. I was quick to answer, thinking it was him, only to hear a mutual friend say: "What are you doing with ***'s phone?". . Whoops. Same phone, same ringtone. Within hours all our friends knew.

  I have sent a text about the guy I was dating to him instead of a friend. I wasn't impressed with his choice of outfit and was embarrassed by it. When I had to explain my way out of it I said I didn't like it because it covered too much of his body and I wanted skin. He accepted that and thought it sweet I sent it to him by accident as he assumed I must of been speaking to him. On my phone I put a * in some of the numbers I don't use often so that I cannot accidentally send a dirty pic to. Let's say I am dating Darren but my friend is Danielle and Daisy I will put the name in as xdarren so he appears in a spot completely different. I have also been know to create names around my 'date' so that I don't accidentally send a text to the wrong person! Hubby has received a late night dirty pic from a female! lol He replied that she had the wrong person. He didn't know who it was but she was mortified though!

  I accidentally sent an extremely raunchy and explicit text to my husband's best friend (still together at the time). They both have the same name. I received a text reply saying "I'll be right over" I was somewhat confused and then received a phone call from my husband and asked him if he'd received my text. He said he hadn't received one from me. I was extremely embarrassed and it was laughed about by all of us for many years. - Posted from rhpmobile

  I was given the wrong number by one of the RHP members here, so some random person with a similar number received a very, very raunchy pic. I am ashamed to say I too am guilty of the typo...once giving a wrong number to a guy, he then sent some "interesting" txts to a random person, so I doubt it is that uncommon!!

  My other half works away...so while sexting one night he sent very explicit pics to me but unfortunately our 3 daughters also received them as well... he had mistakenly sent them through a group message. ...that was embarrassing as hell for him...we all laugh about it now. - Posted from rhpmobile

  i like i am sure many others have a couple of email addys anyway got this email with a zip folder full of very sexy poses from this girl i didn't know or at least didn't think i knew being a bloke you have to check them out. But there was something strangely familiar about her she was the girl from the local newsagent i let her know some of the poses were great and explained she had sent them to me and not the intended person and for about six months later she still used to blush when i used to get my lotto had to feel sorry for her

  Friends of mine (Ms) use iMessage when hubby is away from home, the last time he went away he left his ipad behind for his 7 year old son to use in his absence. Whilst mum and dad were talking to each other they forgot that the messages would be going to the ipad as well.... Needless to say when she realised she ran to get the ipad and delete said messages. Can't have your son asking questions!!

  I've texted the father of our son's best friend several times that 'I'm horny and need you now', or that I was dripping wet and waiting for him. Nothing too hard core though. And while it might be a true enough statement (he is the cutest bald tradie), he wasn't the intended recipient! Still, he's kinda used to it now and knows I'm a lil bit naughty, so it's all good!
