  Tantric has been on my list of must do for as long as l can remember. I find the whole concept of tantric intrigueing and would jump at the chance to learn more. . Unfortunately all my attempts have so far led nowhere. Mind you ' these attempts were here in the forums... There are possibly other media out there that cater for this.. Interested to see what others have to say...

  Shashi Solluna - books and online. She will give you a good introduction. In Australia Waratah Karleu does workshops as well. She's now based in Adelaide but does online workshops. Minke De Voss has written Tao Tantric Arts but that is fully Tao and is focuses a lot on spirituality. It's more for if you really want to go deep into the practise. It's a bit hard to read. Rosie Rees does a bit on jade eggs, vaginal de-armouring on FB but its not really tantra and not presented as such just has some elements. Good for beginning and helpful for use of jade eggs. She's in Perth They would be more credible ones I know. Lots online just use the word tantra, but it's not.

  I did a tantric weekend course about 18 months ago. While I got a lot of positives out of it (emotionally, spiritually and physically), there were some elements that made me uncomfortable. I got the feeling some single males were there for ulterior reasons. I also got the feeling some people there had some deep trauma which the course triggered, and there wasn’t the appropriate supports to help them at that stage. I heard during some of the sessions some deep guttural heart rendering sobs. On the fun side, I had to bring my own cushion and whenever one of my friends comes over, I get to tease her as to whether she is sitting on my tantra pillow. I also had to restrain myself from laughing when at the end of the course the separated the genders and then went to teach us some of the key aspects of sex. One of the big reveals was apparently guys should not go straight to the pussy and just hit that. Apparently we must concentrate on other areas until it awakens. As I looked around everyone had this sense of stunned awe as to this technique which they had obviously never thought of before.

  Barbara Carellas book Urban Tantra is really good Also be careful of the toxic Tantra culture that stereotypes women into goddesses and that you have to look and behave a certain way to be a Tantrika. There’s a fair bit of abuse in the industry.

  @earthqueen I like Rosie’s stuff. She was introduced to me at a Tantra workshop I did. I got her jade egg and sacred squirter glass wand. They are really good. Another person I recommend is Mangala Holland. She was in Aus for a long time, but now lives back in the UK. I did her Tantra course and it was great. She does a lot on pleasure education. The last person I totally admire is Michaela Boehm. Her book the wild Womens way is fantastic as are her trainings. She’s incredibly deep and sincere.

  A few years ago I stumbled across OM (pronounced ohm) which stands for orgasmic meditation. There is a rather good youtube video which goes into some detail on the technique. It’s transformed mrs Smirk’s orgasms. It works on expanding the neural pathways between pussy and brain. OMing isn’t a one off experience, it is a journey in order to realise the benefits.   There are aspects of tantric practises that interest me and i have the following books, as they have exercises that I can try as i develop my own style. Tantric sex for women by Christa Schulte Tantric sex for men by Diana Richardson and Michael Richardson. A few years ago i paid for a tantric session in Sydney. From this session I realised that there should be a few warm up sessions to allow for comfort and connection. The healing aspect of 'mapping' is not something that I personally required/gained from. Calling upon deities is something I will leave out in my sessions.
