  Tantra is actually an esoteric form of Hinduism that workships Shakti and is a lot more involved than just sex... BUT What you're interested in is (for men) a muscle and breathing technique that allows you to control and hold your ejaculation. Why would you want to do that? Because the next time you reach orgasm it's much more powerful. Also your partner should be enjoying the fact that you are still... umm locked and loaded... as such. There are suposed to be something like nine levels of orgasm that you can reach by following this technique. I don't know if that's true because I've never tried it. If you want to try and do it you have to go into training. Next time you take a pee try and stop the flow in mid stream. The muscle that you just used is the one you have to exercise and get it strong enough to clench when you're about to orgasm. I don't know the breathing technique, you'd have to Google it. There's also a technique for women but I don't know what the involves but if you can find someone to practise it with apparently you can both reach a state of prolonged bliss together. Good luck.

  Hey Hotpie I like this question!! I have been quite interested in tantric sex for some years now and my partner and I have practiced it on and off. For me, Tantra is more than sex – it is also about an attitude towards life – acceptance of what is without having to change it or judge it in anyway – much like Zen Buddhism or Tao. Also, it is about being aware and present in each moment as though life is a constant meditation (a high ideal to attain, I know!) The sex side comes in using certain breathing techniques as Bob said above. Also there are eye gazing methods which are used as an entree to sex. One of the breathing techniques used is called Breath of Fire – google it – it is a simple practices which heightens energy. As well as that, there is the fact that tantric sex places little or no focus on orgasm and rather the sensations which come with sex. I have found that when I am in an “on” phase with tantric sex, sex is far more powerful, deep and erotic. The ability to focus only on what is happening in the present moment creates a sexual meditation. While good old fucking is fantastic within itself – when I want a deeper, more intense experience, I go with tantric sex. Hope this helps!! G xxx

  Tantric sex seems to take a lot of time and effort. I get the same results with a hitachi vibrating wand and couple of lengths of rope in less than half the time.

Its about feeling and awareness, being aware of yourself and your partner but not thinking 3 steps ahead, being aware in the very moment and not thinking I'm going to do x,z and z. As unexpected stated, when in the moment you can go far deeper than would normally be the case and because there is no focus on the orgasm, it is often delayed for the man....... but when it comes, man, it is the most intense experience.

  I like pretty much all things sex..I can imagine a nice long intense tease touch session..as long as there is a nice long orgasim at the end !!

  I think I will just stick with going to the ropes with my sparring partners who rarely seem to fight back...the big "oh my god" smile on their face when they are completely lost in the shimmering glow of a warm candle and subtleties of a silk blindfold seem to work for me. | Quoting 'MistressT' I get the same results with a hitachi vibrating wand and couple of lengths of rope in less than half the time. | I'm with you, MT...and if you think about it, the Richter scale only goes to 10. I can get there by waving my wand and doing a couple of ropes tricks to amaze and amuse masses without having to think... | ...or attend any of the classes.
