  Peachypair, I hated school , i only went to play sport ! so during Maths period i got up walked out and never went back..My father was cool with it as long as i didnt work in a factory like he did most of his life, and yep thats what i did.. anwsered an advert for job in a factory ! 6am starts life by a time clock ..

  Arthur Farbenbloom and Associates (yes that was his name and I giggled everytime I said it) and had to type using carbon paper and they sacked me when I was in hospital having my appendix out. (but they did give me very nice flowers). The other worst job was the financial planner that went bankrupt and used to look at my legs all the time! Pusscat xx

  My worse job was at a place called Trusses Plus in Melbourne...the boss was a real pig!! I was the only female working there and was expected to do all the cleaning and washing up after the boys in the factory. At one stage I had the flu so bad that I took a week off (he refused to pay me) and when I got back there was not one clean plate or cup or glass or cutlery in the place...the sink was overflowing that they had the plates stacked on the fridge!! He came up to me at around 9am (I started at 8:30) and said "what is your fucking problem with the dishes...get in there and do them NOW"!! To say I was shocked is an understatement.... I ended up getting sacked, but only because he was trying for over 2 months to make me quit and I wouldn't let him win hehehe. On the last day (as usual) I asked him a question he called me a fucking slut...I went off my head and told him that I wasn't going to quit so he sacked me on the spot...I was soooooo happy! I went to Fair Work Australia and he was told to pay up my sick leave...he never did! This week I am going to pay the money to the Courts and going to have them make him pay me! I have been on stress ever since and have been unable to find a new job because of this...would love to know if I can get him for more!! Hmmm my best job? Well I worked as a Temp for many many years...but must say the one I enjoyed the most was in Accounts at Independant Distillers (the makers of Cruisers)...the staff was great, the bosses were great and even the GM was so nice...would go back there in a heartbeat! Oh and working at The Daily Planet many many moons ago was fantastic too... xFunlovingx

  Worst would have to be employee filing for our lovely (NOT) national airline. Then being a lender, I had moral issues getting people into debt... The best job I've had would be working in a regional council, really felt like I was contributing to the community!

  The worst job was when I first got to London I worked in the hostel I was staying in cleaning the rooms while sleeping in the basement with all the other "hostel family" of cleaners. I HATED IT!!!!! I didn't last the week. Meeka

  Worst job - working as a cleaner in the USA. Best job - working as the 2i/c to my chief tech officer in my very first job, and being given enough authority in that capacity to override the department general manager - not that I did it at all!

  Mr Luvsilver here. Best job- i always had a second and third job working behind bar at a pub and nightclub before Mrs Luvsilver came along as it was fun,still got to hang with my mates and met a lot of people.Gave it all up when we met as i couldn't juggle 3 jobs , a girlfriend and play footy(tried for 12 months).Before we went into business i wanted some extra cash to fund it so i got work driving strippers to private functions and bucks nights.I was a driver/security and also had to retrieve costumes and various dildos/props etc as they were discarded so they would not be souvenired.Did this for about 18 months and had a ball,great money ,hot girls and not too much trouble from any of the boys. Worst job- cleaning meat trays at a butcher shop after school until i turned 15 and could get a legal after school job in the local supermarket stacking shelves.

  Worst job - I spent a month getting out of bed before dawn, minus something most mornings (it got to minus 13 I believe one morning) in northern NSW. Going to a shearing shed and doing data entry on a new database prgramme. Not only was it cold, it stank, I was isolated (I neeed my civilisation) but the programme was really poorly written too. Best Job? hmmm will let you know if i find it still looking.... Kisses Focus

  Miles and miles of them........two guys picking and throwing up to another guy who threw to the packer......hot drudge filled work in the middle of nowwhere......the only fun bit was smashing the packer with rotten watermelons................

  I have absolutely nothing against homosexuals, I'm bi and my brother is gay so I treat everyone with the same amount of respect no matter who you are. However my worst employment experience was because of a gay, high-end photo studio franchisee owner. He treated me like dog shit. He never used his manners, no please, no thankyou's - just do this, do that. I was hired as a photographer but was made to be his personal cleaner/gopher. His partner is co-owner of the business was fine towards me but the owner told me every morning what he didn't like about me and I was constantly on the verge of tears every second! One day he was completely out of line, so we took a break, he told me to go get his "double macchiato with skim foam" I bought back a full-cream latte and told him to stick it. Woo!My best job? A toss up between working for myself and taking photos of the tourists on jet boats in Sydney Harbour. That was hell fun in Summer. Tonnes of people to perve on and always a alcoholic beverage from one of the Quay bars afterwards.

  Thanks everyone! Seems there's a lot more of shove it than love it going on LOL with some seriously yucky jobs, conditions and it seems most importantly bosses. Taipan... your post reminds me that life is full of ironies. Ummah Pusscat... How rude to sack you while you're sick. Just as well they sent nice flowers I guess Oh Meeka... I so sympathise, my attempt at a cleaning job lasted all of, oh an hour or so... The area I was supposed to clean and the time to do it with... They were kidding right??? Brrr Focus... I wonder if we have a face of for worse conditions etc lol. I'd vote for you... My best wishes fly to you on wings, wishing for you luck finding a best job. Mmmm Playfulnoosa... I think I'd be voting yours worst job cos of the sheer constant effort. Parenting is made up of all those areas, good and bad hey xxRxx hehe... love your new call sign too... So pleased to hear Funloving that you have had good bosses to help make up some for the other. That sounded terrible, fantastic you got a ruling in your favour but so unfair you have to go to so much effort to get it carried through. My best wishes for you as you go, I know the court process can be nerve racking. More importantly, I sure hope you can find a new job to add as your new best!
