If I was a younger woman and lived within shaggin distance.. mate you'd be there ;) - you profile reads fine! At the risk of being shot down by the blokes of RHP - I swear I have the opposite problem - constantly overwhelmed with flirts/messages and I joke that the love of my life has slipped by me unnoticed 10 times over!! My advice? Just keep doing what you're doing and if you connect with someone don't let time pass by - you need to be proactive and keen.... There are enough deadshits on here that the good ones immediately stand out!!! Good luck!! xxxx

Mate - being twice your age I can tell you one more thing - get out of here - go in the wild world of parties, concerts, anything, take up a sport, do all that, at your age sex is just a sideline and you should not work hard on it :-) It of course depends on what you like and want - no shortage of any types of playmates here, but maybe you have the "location" problem like me, I'm hours away from a large city and finding someone local always takes time...Good luck!

I've heard this a lot lately, and the men to ladies ratio is pretty extreme admittedly. . Ummm maybe make sure when you are messaging someone that you are what 'they' are looking for , believe me it does make a difference. If you dont tick every box she may be doing some harsh but necessary filtering of exact matches . But if you go ahead and contact her anyway, maybe an idea to expand on why she shouldn't pass you over. That shows that you actually HAVE read her profile, and going on personal experience its made enough difference to me in the past to perhaps reconsider writing someone off immediately. . . Just one more thing I want to tell you, make sure that by trying to send 'the perfect' politically correct, non sleezy, whatever message, that you don't tone down your own personality. If you're fun and cheeky, then be that, afterall you want the person to be attracted to the real you. Good luck xx

Unless you have a tonne of spare time to hang to in the chat room you need to remove yourself from the crowds of un-named faces and go to the listed events... get known, meet people face to face.... the events are targeted towards particular types of people... so choose your crowd of like minds.HugsS

this is a very hit and miss affair. ive tried messaging locals. but apart from couples....the interest level ive received is negligable. get more interest from interstate singles if anything...kinda makes me want to move. tried several profile formats and i dont think they make much difference because most times they look at the picture to make the decision to read on. like everyone else is saying, just be yourself. and you're in prime position at your age. its a good way to meet people in theory but i reckon you got better chance down the local pub than here

I'm finding this a bit frustrating too, sending plenty of messages, all friendly, maybe a bit flirty, but certainly not rude or crude and yes, I only message people where I fit their criteria. At best I get a not interested (rarely) but thanks to those that did.I've tweaked my profile, taken a new pic (I've been getting skinnier by the day), but now I'm thinking about using pre-canned templates (yuk) just to save time, and test the waters. Any experiences on this folks? Otherwise, I think I might take Stalky's advice, get to an event, as I just don't tend to hit a wall of silence in the real world.

Hey mate, try beefing up your profile, adding a bit more about you. It's not assured to make any difference but I think if you can stand out from the crowd somehow your chances are at least improved. I'm also hearing from some folks that posting in the forums is leading them to click my profile. :) Otherwise they'd never have seen it.

I just want to say that you have to be yourself. Don't try and pretend you are somebody else. Honesty is veryy important and mind games SUCK!!! Not everybody has the same taste, but all is good. When a couple gets serious and wants to play here are the singles guys excuses: Cant play at night.........because you are married and not being honest with us! Fair enough probably due to the ratio, this advice from joe is decent however attempting to meet girls in clubs, pubs, uni etc these days isnt easy. they all seem to be up-tight or plain not interested.. gives me the impression that you either have to be a rich older dude or a complete arrogant guy to get interest.. Sports,parties and concerts are a great idea though and having no expectations usually works well no disappointment then

The truth is, people are people. There are overly horny, lying, no parking skilled, cheaters, selfish, time wasters of both genders/sexes. I am sure we have all experienced this at some point.Auzzieboi, I think you answered your own question when you first posted, i.e. the ratio of men to women. Hence, women can be as fussy as they want due to pure supply/demand. Also, I have to agree with alot of people here GET THE HELL OFF THE SITE AND GET OUT THERE!!

well i dont know about this site it seems more orientedto the older, swinger more kinky type but on another site ive put a bit of time in and it pays off. Its good to put time in so people get too know u. just be cool and people will like you especially if you say funny stuff:)
