Wayno ........ we might just be in that can we bring a friend ? Brae ps Parramatta is the centre of Sydney in fact so great idea ...... ah but wheres a quiet bar in which one does not have to scream to be heard ?? I have faith YOU will find it !

parra on a saturday nite without having to scream over everyone.....heh good luck! lol although where was it.... i cant remember the place but its near the river....its a pub with a great outdoor area as well as inside.... the street where gold's gym is :)

Count me in Wayne.Went to a drinks night last year in Parramatta, was held at PJ Gallagers. Might not be the bestest place around but we were outside in the courtyard most of the night. The bonus is that a decent hotel, The Courtyard, is directly across the street and most of us stayed there. No problems for most of us in drinking and driving.Mooka

Niceguy...fabo... I'm in !!!! Parramatta is an old stomping ground of mine....omfg does the General Bourke still exist ??? and War n Peace nightclub ewwwww gosh, flashbacks lol. Not that I would suggest either of those venues oh no! We need an outlet with a little class surely....mmm gonna research...if that's ok. Late July works for me! lol Mooka!! I am so there!!!! xxxx

It appears that July 31st seems to work for most people based on conversations I've had so far... so we'll pencil that in as the date. Just need the venue now... on the hunt... keep the suggestions rolling.. looks like I'll have to go out this Saturday night into Parra and see what I can find.... fieldtrip anyone? Black Stilletos ..War and Peace has well and truly gone to the great disco ball in the sky, but General Bourke has been reincarnated like all good " never say Die" venues into PJ Gallaghers where Mooka is suggesting. Cant believe you left out the iconic(??!!??) Stallions and KC's Cannonball nightclubs god this takes me back..not too sure if I like where its takeing me thogh lol..visions of bad hairdos and equally bad clothes styling.. Sounds an interesting propersition the drinks night. Will look forward to hearing a date. Mrs Sat who will keep all her disco moves all to her self..

hi mr heat here old war @ peace and genral bourke kc stallions collector tavern party animal those were the days anyway i have a sugestion for a venue the rose and crown hotel nice smaller pub good food music and not to noisy most of the larger venues in parra get crowded with those younger people

I'll be in for this! Given that I've only recently signed up to RHP, I guess this is a good a chance as any to meet up with some of you - may even drag a mate of mine along.And I think the pub that people are thinking of near the bridge on George St is The Albion (I know mainly cause it's next to my works Parramatta office - spent a few friday nights there lol).And Hi to you all by the way! :)Adam
