Swinging positive counselling

January 29 2024

Hi, we have a friend that is interested in starting up a swinger / sex positive online counselling business to help with issues people face in the swinger community. She would be located in Australia. Do you think there would be much demand for that service?

There is a huge market for counselling support that couples looking at Swinging/ENM/polyamory, can access. Both currently existing providers AND couples looking for guidance.

But there will always be room for more.

If she’s qualified and has a genuine desire to support people who want to open their marriage/relationship with an ethical outlook and secure attachment in place . . . she 100% should.

Speaking as someone who has experience with a sex-based business . . . she has to do a LOT of market research so that she successfully markets her services so that potential clients can easily find her.

These days, there are a LOT of people around the world (and online) who throw out ‘content’ & services on absolutely EVERY topic known, many claiming to be “experts”. So she needs to find some consistent avenues to be seen by those who could benefit from her genuine knowledge and healthy support

There would be if they can articulate to the lowest common denominator. That usually defines the success of most advice based channels or businesses.

My experiences have shown me there is a huge appetite for people to learn how to navigate all kinds of relationships when sex is involved as the separation of sex and love becomes extremely muddy and hard to define.
