  If I'm not ready to play; then why should anyone be forced into "strip down"?? I've only been to one club though; and there was no pressure to do anything at all.....   We have been to a few clubs and parties and have never been forced to dress down into something sexy. Whilst it may be encouraged so as to set the mood, no one is forced to do anything that they don't want to do. - Posted from rhpmobile

  It could just be the establishments I frequent (or indeed what I wear to such events) but I have never once been told to 'strip down' at a certain time or even was aware this kind of expectation existed. Excuse the French; but fuck that! My body, my choice, my rules. If you would like a list of a few venues that don't operate like they in Melbourne, let me know and I'd be more than happy to point y'all in the right direction. - Posted from rhpmobile

  I went to some swinger club in Melbourne where you had to undress on arrival into either your underwear or fetish gear. Was horrible place and we left not long afterwards. All these blokes standing around in their tighty whiteys staring at the women. This place allowed single guys so the numbers were very skewed. I have been to two organised parties in Sydney where it is the policy to strip down to naked or near too at a certain time. At NBO you get there at around 8.30ish and then at 9.00 everyone has to strip naked. All the guys strip naked and the few women usually do as well or they may have some sexy fetish gear on. Let's just say this encourages the play so that people aren't standing around chatting all night. Even the people who have come to watch only are usually starkers. If you don't like this policy then it's best not to attend.

  Some clubs do it on certain nights, its not like its every club every night you have to be naked..They advertise the fact before hand, its usually between certain hours and those nights are usually 3 times more popular than normal night.. No one forces you to strip either, thats an exaggeration..its well advertised before and during the night..It really does encourage people to party abit more i guess. Otherwise you get this thing where everyone just sits around smoking and drinking..Might as well go hit a pub if thats all you wanna do right? It is a swingers club after all lol

  I absolutely think that people should dress sexy at a sex party or swingers club. I think people that don't ruin it for others. But I assume you are talking about getting down to sexy lingerie, etc which is a step further. I don't see a problem with it. You are going to a sex party or swingers club not your local pub. If you don't feel comfortable being dressed in sexy gear to chat to people.... How are you actually going to participate in the sexual activities? I know it can be a little confronting but surely you can ding something you feel confident in?

  We run quite a few parties over the year and never have we said to our couples you have to strip.....we have the Brumbies no undies policy lol but never strip or make people play on command. All about a group of people coming together and having fun with what everybody is comfie with. Maybe asking a club or party you may be attending if there is rules about stripping down soon as you arrive....that way you know their rules before hand and then you can choose if you would like to attend as you would know what is expected.

  I have a huge issue with this…and hate anything rushed or expected. I also like taking my time and having fun with my appearance the slow reveal is half the fun! I walk out if they ask me to take my clothes off, it is usually free for all anyway and that is NOT for me.

  I think one needs to research the couples/establishment before attending. Brumbies parties are the best! They make you feel very comfortable, the people who attend are friendly and not pushy. You can strip down if you want, if you don't then that's also cool, caters for everyone

But certainly the swingers clubs or bigger parties probably wouldn't. DeliciousCouple is right, the places that have this rule are a little bit of a free for all. But most people that go to those places go for that reason, so you need to find a place that caters to what you are after. For sure! Mind you, even the free for all places have a "no means no" policy and sometimes if you only want to observe or not be part of the big group play you can either wear a band or have some signal that shows people that or you can say it at the start of the party so everyone knows that they shouldn't approach you. Most people are good with that........ I know because I don't like the free for all thing most of the time either even though I have attended some of those parties.
