Swinger Identification

Hi all A few weeks ago there was a topic about how hard it is to identify a couple or single who enjoy the swinging lifestyle, without compromising your own identity, or causing embarassing moments. So it is now really time that those of us who are genuine, either as a couple , or single have a descrete way to casually identify our brothers, or sisters who enjoy eachother. There were all kinds of suggestions how to do this, but we must come up with a simple, inexpensive and most important discrete way to quickly and secretly identify eachother, and whatever way it must not be so obivous as to draw so much attention that we will be asked - whats that your wearing , or what does that mean. So lets all try and brainstorm, something simple, convient, identifable , so at the least you can have some idea if your friends, the person on the train next to you, your boss is into more than you think.!!!! Lets make something happen so we know who is who. Ok so its a bit selfish, as we have found trouble meeting genuine couples, here or elsewhere, - maybe something is wrong with us ?? but at least it helps us all to identify similar "fun couples or singles " Hopefully it cannot be that hard ?? hummmmm Ok so our first suggestion was a simple bracelet of a particular style, which can easily be worn whenever necessary, of course it must have an identifing mark, could be a simple logo or pattern embossed , any other suggestion welcome- lets just finally make something happen B T W sorry aboy the spelling

One idea I have seen in the past that is relatively discreet is to use you mobile phone bluetooth capability to be discoverable to others with similar settings nearby - you put a few words in your description that hint at you being willing to play. Still risks others who may have their phones on discoverable but is relatively discreet. When you are in range of other phones you get a notification and can view the other phones description. A thought anyway.

I have been to swingers nights at a hotel that had people that swing and patrents that just happen to be there. The frustrating thing is we really did not know who did swing and who didn't. Have you ever been on holidays just say Bali swimming around the pool with other nice people and wonder that it would be nice to know if these people swing? You are correct Identification only swingers would know or some sort of discrete sign? well it would be perfect but what would it be?

A secret handshake that goes from side to side instead of the conventional up/down method? A tattoo of a playset including but not exclusively a swing(can depict gym hoops and seesaw). T-Shirt with Logo and words "Beware, swingers in motion - wait your turn". . Nah! Just being stupid. It's a difficult one to ascertain when you cannot simply ask someone about it. Or can you?

It was a chameleon. I guess that could be put on any piece of jewellery or clothing.

If Holly Hobby represented the girl fraternity league.... The Flintstones may have been representative of the couples swinging scene? "Wilma, open the door"...."Wilma, I can hear Barney Boning you girls"...."Wilma... (Hannah Barbera edited the second line out naturally)

If you're not worried about being seen out in public, by people you know, as being a swinger then just ask people. Doesn't take much more of an approach as it does if you're single. I've picked up, and been picked up, on numerous occassions. If you are worried then best to never wear a 'swinger id' as without a doubt within a very short time, thanks to the internet/social media/word of mouth, everyone you know will know what your id means anyway.

I have been thinking about this for a long time as well. How about an app on the mobile like bluetooth where certain words like cple or msingle could be added. Anybody who has the same name in their app would then receive a silent or vibrating message telling them somebody else is in the room looking for the same. The concern I would have is that it could be abused by others. Good luck in trying to find a solution. Cheers
