This may sound a bit strange, but one of my favourite dishes is: pretzels & salted peanuts, with melted white chocolate drizzled over it. Put it in the fridge until the chocolate sets, then break into pieces, and enjoy!!

Nev, mate... I say love,I say pet I say love again. Never knock it if you havent tried it! Do you know how long it took me to even come to terms with the combo? When it was put in front of me I thought oh no! ya gotta be kidding!! ... but then I found the courage to try it ... and to my surprise I loved it! Weird as combo, but some how it works... don't know how.. but it does! But put a raw egg in front of me or an oyster and and try and get me to eat it..I'm sorry... just not gunna happen! can't do it!

What if I lie and say I'm allergic to some seafood?? Do I get out of the challenge then? :) And your plate would be much easier to consume. Just think of all the ingredients seperately and it wont sound so bad. How about one on more of an equal level? I'm yet to try or believe that its good, but would try it and report back to you if you like.. Its vegemite on toast with a poached egg on top! I like vegemite on toast and I like poached eggs... but together ??? can't see how it works! Might need to be a hang over type thing? -Maple- Oh and Trishy hunny, its bliss to the taste buds! -Maple-

Just came back from an Italy trip, and am not a huge fan of pasta...but had THE BEST and people can quote me on this ravioli in Positano. It was ravioli filled with smoked mozzarella and eggplant in a light tomato sauce. ...well nonna's cooking is still unbeatable...but yeah this was GREAT!!

Hahaha... so you thought I was a simple gal? ... I'm a cook by trade, so I guess I do love food...but Im not into trying anything that looks like ET in a clam shell. I'd rather stick to things that grow in the garden, the paddock and /or things that go Moo! Oh I do love my meat and three veg.. the simple things! lol -Maple-

I know you didn't claim to be cool, the opposite actually. Gave me a good laugh! I was punning around... Original, referred to the KFC lol, and so did the chickening out. I probably should have had a question mark after Nev and before original. It seems these typos will be the end of me ;-) Speaking of hamburgers with pineapple, have you ever tried KFC's Zinger Burger with the lot? The pineapple makes a yuuummmmy contrast to the hot n spicy fillet. I love me sweet n savoury/sour contrasts.Mmmm, and have you ever tried deep fried oysters or smoked oyster sandwiches, chilled or grilled. Thank goodness dinner is on... drool... I think I must really love food... After a lifetime of avoiding curry, got to really enjoying some over the weekend. Not liking my chances of ever liking ginger tho. What a sin that Ginger Ale smells sooo good!!! And tastes sooo bad.Cheers... Deb what loves her meat

Haha.. was just messin' with ya! Was fishing for a bite .. and got one lol. I too adore the simple things in life... For tea tonight I made bangas 'n' mash with gravy haha... very simple indeed, but omg it was yummmmmo! Oh... the maple comes from the fact that it doesnt matter how hard I try, I never ever seem to be able to eat pancakes with maplesyrup on them without dripping some down my cleavage! Then I end up as horny as hell !! I think its the 'sex and candy' thing that turns me on! hahahahaha I introduced LOLLY GOBBLE BLISS BOMBS to my kids the other night and their eyes near popped right out of their lil' heads! .. with delight that is! And I love the sweet n sour thing but just cant handle the SOUR lollies... omfg! The facial expressions I'm told are kodak moments, but the pain down the side of my neck... nup! nup! nup!.. just not worth it! -maple-

Damned if I did n damned if I didn't... I hafta admit though that this is the right thread to be fishing for a bite, but it sounds like you make enough of a mess as it is without gettin me involved LOL. :-PThanks for your posts, I had a good laugh when I first misread this one thinking you'd posted that you had bananas and mash with gravy hehehe. Funny how our minds interpret things sometimes. Nice solid feel good meal that, with the sausages, not the bananas haha. Love lolly gobble bliss bombs... in moderation. After salted popcorn, my favourite popcorn is the colour coated popcorn, love the orange flavour best lol.I could see lollies making a fun thread all by themselves!MmmmmMrsP'
