How Long would prefer to be called a Section of Yarn, I believe that's the politically correct term these days?

double the length from one side to the middle - an inch = the distance between two ends. Foxy

My rope is usually 60 meters long .....unless I'm very occasionally free soling in which case I don't have a rope at all. W.

it all depends if it is attached and who it is attached to...or like Schrödinger's cat you put it in a box and hope for the best:-)

I was not sure how many people I could rope into replying to this thread. Just goes to show you are all a fun loving bunch of people who like a good yarn. Thought Knots would answer but he must be tied up. And the BEST part is that everyone is right And Ralf, may need to tie you up to the stove so you can cook that delicious smorgasbord. And Arups, I miss my rock climbing and rap jumping now you mention it.
