Starting regular swinging parties in Mt Isa.

June 10 2024

I'm interested in hosting regular parties in Mt Isa. Not looking at charging entry, more interested in getting a regular group of people together who want to play. If you're local and possibly interested let me know. Just trying to gauge interest and possibly advice on how to go about finding people who might be interested.

There is a saying along the lines that a fox does not crap at the entrance to its den.

We know Mt Isa fairly well. It is a very small town where people generally know one another’s business and gossip about one another.

Hosting a swingers party, for locals in the town, might not go down well. As it would not be long before almost everyone knew about it,

If we lived there, we would certainly not attend, nor would we want anyone to know that we are swingers, as this could negatively impact on our jobs/careers if we worked & lived on the town.

Others might feel the same way.

Having lived in small towns (mining towns) for close to 25 years...... i wouldn't be hosting or attending any group playmeets whatsoever. The occasional threesome with very trustworthy friends was as much as we ever did. We'd play actively out of town.
Too small and too many big mouths. We all know small town folks love to gossip lol.
    Just my personal experience though.

I agree with the posters above.
    Small Town, Big gossip.
It would be worth your tome travelling to the big smoke.

My Hometown , would be talked about in every cribroom in the Mines next shift. Would ve viable back in the 70s and 80s when it was "Crazy Town" and IRA members and Painters and Dockers hid out there but now everyone knows each others business . Plus any cars parked outside the venue / house liable to be not there at end of session , Youth Crime off the Galaxy.
