Hey Wayne, Mmmm.... Gotta love the HOT LIST ! I just accept it as part of the FUN on RHP. I don't even bother blocking people. I know I'm being "stalked"... the messages and txts I get each morning giving me "feedback" on my forum postings is evidence of that. I find if VERY funny when more than one guy thinks a particular forum post is about THEM !!! LOL It's amusing to get those early morning txts saying, "if you have a problem with me then why not say". Well... I DON'T have a problem with any ONE guy... I have problems with LOTS of guys !!!! My posts are often a mixture of thoughts not specifically about one person. When I do have a problem with a guy I tell him ! I can handle RHP stalking.... but if certain guys start rocking up at my home or office I wouldn't hesitate to take serious action. (For all those guys who read this...... YES it applies to YOU ! ) Hugs, Miss Saturn

I don't have a problem with the hot list per se... In fact I was using it myself until I found out the side effects... Now I have no one on my hot list as I don't want to be seen as a stalker myself... (which I'm not). My concern is that blocking is what you do to prevent someone seeing your info etc... and if that is not working then what else is flawed? Wayne

I myself have been added to a certain hotlist, i know it is their way of keeping an eye on me.. What i dont understand is why the hell would this couple want to do that?? Go figure!!! Even though they know they are blocked.... It gives me the creeps :S

Dear Bob.... if you read his post.. you will note that he calls himself Wayne... whether that's his real name or not... I'll leave that for you to discover. :p So I put "Wayne"'s theory to the ultimate test... I went into the chat room for lunch and I added every guy that was wanking to my hot list... and then I stared at them one by one.. saying nothing... and trying to tempt them into blocking me... I then chose one straighht guy and stared at his cam for at least 45 minutes.. a tough job I have to say... but I did this in the name of science.. until ultimately one of he came... :p .... so I had to change to another guy... (choice cock mate :p... so now you know it was all in the name of science, it is ok.. I mean, we're good right?).... and he managed to block me instantly! Hi Wayne Yeah i'm with you here, there are a couple that have hot listed me, I dont fit their criteria, they certainly dont fit mine, I have blocked them I ignore them socially , i find it quite creepy, especially since Perth is small and i have ran into them before and likely to do so again unless I police all functions I go to.So yeah RHP admins,,, can you adress this problem area??? pretty please Devine

( 22 pages im not sure what that equates to).I have one to ..But most of my friends are on it.....and people i genuinely think are hot and have spoken to in the chat-rooms...and would like to get the opportunity to speak to again...I would also like that they have the choice to let me know that they do not wish to be on my hot-list We all want a little space to move about freely whenever we chooseThere is a Short List I'm Not To Happy about and i do not use this Creature I mean ..... I hate to admit this but i'm very confused by this post. I thought that everyone could see the same amount on your profile, unless of course you had given them access to a private gallery. So I don't understand why it would matter if you were on someone's hot list. I'm on 220 it seems but those people can see no more than anyone else??

so it just provides a shortcut to finding your forum posts, which a serious stalker would find anyway - these forums don't move THAT fast that you can't easily run through and see who has posted what.I have a guy who checks out my profile (yoohoo, you know who ya are, lol) about every second day, but usually about 4 times that day - dunno why, because it doesn't change. But he doesn't have me on a hot list, or a short list, or a friends list.Honestly, once I noticed it and thought "eh, curious little fella" that was about it, I couldn't even be bothered blocking me - big deal, what do i care if he can see my profile. Hell, you go to a party and you never know who it is that is watching ;)

Just a word of warning people about something I discovered by accident today (honestly...the mouse got caught under the paper feed tray on the printer *giggle*)....you can right click on any photo in a public gallery and save it to your computer. Right click has been disabled in private galleries though. Still, watch what you put in your public gallery.

What the hotlist means to us and the benefits of updates on your homepage: you are hot, pics are hot and they regularly change, you have changed your preferences/search criterior, you have posted in the forums recently, you have registered to maybe go to a party, you have registered on datefinder, name changes in chat, ..... the hotlist is a great way to navigate this site without wading through the drivel, especially in the forums looking for the most interesting poster/topics as is regularly quoted.. "you can tell so much about someone by what they write in the forums", these are the benefits we pay for and appreciate. The pics preferences speak for themselves. Now we attend lots of partys and this also helps us decide to go or not depending on who has registered, which works for both the hot and the hideous(very helpful). We hardly use datefinder but still good to know who is avaialble to catch up with, but to arrange a date on datefinder with someone on your blocked list would not seem bright or plausible. Name changes especially helpful in chat with the almost daily changes, always good to know if you know who you are chatting to in most cases. We are on120 hotlists and we do not know 87 of them, do we have 87 stalkers we do not know about? No .... not when you read the above, the hotilsts are there for us all to use. If you are popular for whatever reason you have peoples attention regardless and that attention is often sought after. Wayne, also why are you concerned about being "stalked" by the hotlist when you have a face pic and mobile number on your profile? surely any stalker worth his salt would start there lol Happy hunting all xxxxxxx Brenbob68

Hey Wayne, I have said it to you soooooooo many times you truely are a "nice guy". Its not as funny as some have made out. Cyber stalking is in fact growing and has very similair traits to physical stalking. It is no less confronting and perhaps should be taken as serious as the person being "stalked" feels it is. Funny thing is that I probably have a million on there ebcause I just never bothered to delete them. Thankfully the guy that had me in his hot list has removed me after a brief email exchange - nice to know that sometimes being polite can work :-) As for the feature issue with blocking etc - well RHP do need to do something about that, but given my email to them 3 days ago is as yet not answered, I hold little hope. I note others mention that you can save pictures from RHP - well I'm sorry to tell you that even Windows 7 has the ability to grab screenshots of anything regardless of the protection that websites put on themselves. Whats more is that there are tools available to even capture video feeds and the like. Reality of the Internet is, if you don't want it known, don't post it on the net. Hugs to all :-) although the picture of Stalky having my back has me worried now.... Wayne

the general rule of the web is "if you can see it you can save it" - private gallery pics? easy, just save the whole page and the browser will nicely stick all the pics in a folder for you. If you can't save it like that e.g. those galleries that load a picture in a Flash object, a saved picture is but a keypress of "Print Screen" away.I wish websites would just remove those 'no right click' blocks, a waste of their developers time and accomplishes nothing - especially ones that block you from right clicking to open a new tab* /end rant* yes, I could just hold Ctrl down, but still

It's called stalking if you have had a disagreement with someone and they've told you point blank that they will never want to be a friend or know you any better (or words to that effect)... It's called stalking if someone offers to be a friend and then right away retracts that offer only to add you to a hot list so they can watch you from afar... I disagree with Jose's comment that someone might be the above and yet still value what I post in the forums... hogwash... Anyway - online stalking is not something new to me - I've been involved in online communities for over half my life and there are various ways to handle it... I'm happy that for the moment this one is done. Someone checking you out across the bar is one thing... but someone doing so behind a one way window is another. Wayne

Seriously some people are just paranoid. What info can people really get that they wouldn't otherwise. Datefinder dates, well they could've looked that up anyway and even if they do what are they going to find out? That you want a date on a certain day, well that means nothing. Forum posts, same they could just check them easy enough, it's not like they are going to find out your address. Having said that, how could it be improved. Well if you block someone then maybe making them not able to see your forum posts, datefinder dates, remove you from hot and shortlists. Seems simple enough definately doable.

Well if you block someone then maybe making them not able to see your forum posts, datefinder dates, remove you from hot and shortlists. Seems simple enough definately doable.

after reading this I went back to investigate turns out i'm on 160 hotlists lol what do people look at ? cant hurt I didnt even know! i'm curious people i have now met have me on their hotlist...wonder how long i was hot for before they got to meet me? what can they possibly get from looking at my profile that would be harmful? Perhaps Wayne they get more from what you post on the forums or perhaps they find you quite the intellectual :p

Screen dumps (Ctrl + PrtSc) circumvent any image saving issues.Just cutnpaste into Paint, crop and there you have it.. (or, sometimes appropriately, cuntpaste for typo-challenged).

Perhaps too many people on here then disclose too much when they are posting in the Forums or when they are corresponding with people. I don't use my real name, I have a separate prepaid phone and i dont tell anyone where i work or live. And generally on the Forums I just give my opinion on something and nothing more.

dont worry too much about the ones that list you as hot take it as a compliment! worry about the ones that wont take no for an answer and the partner that is happy to make rules and stick with them until you make a choice that they dont like recently have had this experience, very unpleasant to the point of scary seem very nice to start and then wow have fun playing
