Speed dating

December 22 2011

This may have been done before so we are sorry if it has but we are very curious. There are a few different meet and greet/drinks nights over the course of the year and these are a very good idea.We have attended 1 before and chatted to a few different couples and singles. What we have found is that they can possibly be a little hard to break into a circle of people that are already known to each other from previous plays/nights ,etc. We would not call them clique as we don't think this is correct.Aslo depending on the venue in relation to very loud music it can make conversations hard at the best of times.Has there been an organised speed date night for singles and couples in this country.Strictly a no play event but a chance for people to talk to many others in the lifestyle with no agenda or pressure at all.If there has been such an event before we would very much like to get some feedback from people that have attended. Merry Christmas till then Luvsilver.

Because of commitments' we missed out on the only meet and greet we fully intended to go to. But I can imagine what you are saying to be the case because it had passed my mind that ' that might happen.. meaning couples who've met before who form their own lil circle.. We formed this opinion after viewing some of the posts on the build up to the meet and greet night, and thought this might happen, and who wants to sit on the sideline. ?Agree that meeting in a environment where you can at least hear what each other has to say is far better. I dont know about the speed dating but until tryed you would never know... could be a winner..Anyway' if all else fails' we have each other we could turn to.... lol...
