Songs for the Apocalypse

December 09 2012

Hi lovers, I was listening to REM and heard the song "It's the end of the world". So that got me thinking... What would be the top 100 most appropriate songs for Doomsday in 12 days? I'll start: The Final Countdown - Europe.

The end of the world doesn't need to be upon us to play AC/DC's Highway To Hell at full volume but it would definitely be appropriate. I reckon it would also be a good time to dust off the Radiator's Gimme Head!!!

Cant remember the artist, it was German but sung again in English, about your fruitcake hippie-types launching balloons and the military thinking it was a nuclear strike and launching everything. Still a good song. The Doors: The End, was actually about a breakup with his girlefriend but can well be used as an apocalyptic type song. Ozzy osbourne (the Oz-man speaks! ALL! Hail Ozzy!) The ultimate sin Thank god for the bomb Killer of giants Before Ozzy left in Black Sabbath: War pigs (we played this going across the berm in Iraq) Electric funeral Into the void. If you want some good, the world is going to end, blow your brains out, depressing stuff, then listen to Ozzy or Black Sabbath

Check out grouchy media.com for the die motherfucker die thing. It was a video made by some air force pukes right after 911, when we were ramping up to kick some ass. The video is die terrorists die, but with the above soundtrack. Makes you want to go and bomb SOMETHING. Grouchy media also puts out lots of other cool politically incorrect stuff. Enjoy.
