So...does anyone else get off on erotic novels?

Im curious because talking porn and everyone thinks magazines & movies. But for me nothing gets me wetter than a good novel. I used to buy smutty novels, but the were more aimed at men... still got me in the mood though. Then I brought my first Ebook reader. An Amazon Kindle (Im happy to discuss what led me to that decision if any one wants to know pm me!) and discovered the pleasures of Elloras Cavern and other unofficial publishing houses (No Dickens or JK Rowleing will pass through these doors...hahaha) The first one I discovered by accident while looking for vampires & werewolves...I found an author who combined all 3 of my favorite things to read about (vampires, weres and sex....just in case you hadnt guessed!) She had raging sex scenes but unlike other erotic novels I had read they had emotion, love & friendship in it. Tenderness combined with bondage and MMF is what made me mention to Mr H that we might try swinging (and here we are!) I read them during the day when I can and by the time Mr H gets home Im ready to jump him at the door. These ebooks have perked up our sex lives at a time when I was completely and utterly over it (2 babies in 2 1/2years = soooo not interested). There is a novel for every fantasy including tabboo stuff and they can teach you things you never knew and make you fantasize about things you had never considered.

In my spare time I quite like to pen some lines and have posted some of my stories on here. I have discovered a couple of websites that allow members to post and read stories for free and my eyes have been opened. I have only ever read the stories in People and Picture which are pretty ordinary. It is a pleasure to read well written erotica and even stuff that I wouldn't normally do gets me really going. Lord loves it as well so I agree it does teach you about things you never knew and things that you had never considered. Still to take the plunge into Ellora's cave but excited to read some of their "Exotica" stories.

i totally get you on this one.I (like yourself) stumbled across my first erotic novel by accident while trying to find something to read at the airport OMG i got more than i bargained for and yes they do wonders for me too, problem is that once you finish it finding the next one is not so easy, may need to look into this 'Ebook reader' you mention, pardon my ignorance but what is it? where do i find it? tell me more tell me more( doo wup up dum ditty do ) lolGreat post and Welcome aboard

I (the female half of E_man) am currently half way through my first erotic novel and I'm definately enjoying it ;) I have always found erotic stories exciting but mainly just on websites. But i am quite enjoying my first novel....everytime i read it i end up having an orgasm haha. I highly recommend reading much better than porn!!

The second of Anne Rice's Beauty books get's me in the knickers every time.. ponies.. and forced fucking of phallic statues oh my. generally I don't go so much for novels as online short stories. I also quite like hentai. Nothing better than so good old tentacle porn!

Ah Mrs H! Someone else like me! I was wondering if I was the only one! lol I love to read Ellora Cave erotica and I have a very big ebook collection. I also like Black Lace books which you can buy from the local bookstore in the erotica section. I am a bookworm I read constantly somtimes up to 3 books a day. And every books I read is erotica/paranormal (vampires, werewolf's, aliens (human kind) ghosts... lol There are some really great series and authors out there that write this stuff and the paranormal theme is getting more popular with the release of teen books like Twilight and such.... I read my first erotic books when I was 14 and I can still remember all the good feelings it gave me LOL Taby.

Love, love, LOVE erotica!Literotica is one of my fave sites.....can get lost in there for hours!I have also written some erotic scenes....and have had good feedback.Even the racier harlequin novels are pretty good, combining romance and hot sex...lol!Gotta love 'em!JMO...BJxxx

Nothing better than a Dirty read, mags are good but when u get into a novel you can imagine that ur the 1 hot, sweaty, and very wet gets me going all the time and it's longer than a 10min read a fantasy..... that takes u along the way xx

The sleeping beauty books by Anne Rampling were so hot...be sure to look up any words you don't know as it makes the journey she takes you on all the more vividly descriptive. We have used some of the themes in role playing and I (ms duelfantasy) liked how she depicted both female and male characters (especially Laurent). Second hand book stores often sell erotic novels and their quite cheap. A really great website for taboo stories is xxnx.com.au and there are a range of topics to choose from. There is nothing better, however, than having my partner read the stories and then relays them back to me in his own way. His imagination and awareness of what turns me on and challenges me makes story time always finish with a happy ending.
