Facebook - Never use it...other than set-up have never used it...don't even have 1 friend on there! MSN - Use it, but don't log in too often...have huge problems with Telstra and sick of being in the middle of chat when the connection gets lost AGAIN! Skype - Have 2 friends on it...I think...Never sign in and never use it! No idea why I even bothered with Facebook and Skype lol. xFunlovingx

We deleted our Facebook accounts - was wasting so much of our time... and everyone just seems to love the drama on there. My fashion label is on Facebook though - I just update it via my Mums account. I have a Twitter account - which I update... maybe once every few months... Skype - I don't remember my sign in details... MSN - I was using for a little while there... but CBF now. Basically, the only real social networking we do, is through RHP. (MRS)

Twitter is starting to grow on me. If it can't be said in 140 characters, you're probably babbling. . I still haven't made it onto Facebook, but so I don't feel left out I leave all my personal informationm old bank statements and the like laying around bus stops and train stations. I'd hate to be the only one left who hasn't had their identity stolen.

FB is awesome for ex/servicemen to keep in touch. With postings, discharges, deployments and the like, it's one of the best mediums for keeping in the loop. We had a Battalion reunion last year that never would have happened if not for face book.

My family is large and well scattered. It means I can stay in touch with nieces, nephews, cousins, kids, ex-foster kids and old school friends from around the globe.

More what I don't use because of the security issues... MySpace is now a joke, instructions on the web on how to "visit" someone from inside their own profile. P2P connections are not much better albeit primarily a malware threat...too easy to hook in and "monitor" web flow traffic. | Then for business only...Twitter is the primary, Facebook gets a mention but not personally and a few targeted social media networks and communities that are in the "targeted" space. I even know someone that might even have one of his very own. |

Having many Geek friends who were on said sites and others long before they hit the mainstream a lot of people are shocked to hear that I don't use them. I have enough trouble keeping up with all the people I know in "real" life, I don't need to raise the bar any higher. Not to mention that there are a lot of folks I don't want to contact me. If I'm not there, I don't have to feel bad about denying their requests! I used to use a blog site but after the dawn of these new sites it's sort of fallen by the wayside because everyone seems to have left. I have started using MSN again - also because of RHP, haha. It reminds me of being 14... Not always a good thing.

My vanilla life and my professional life have to remain separate so I don't have facebook. I spend way too much time on the computer as it is and that's why I got rid of messenger and anything else that took up my time.
