Exactly, people need to appreciate that this is an entertainment site and any advice offered is purely for entertainment value. I mean, you get what you pay for right? What amazes me entirely is the things that people ask or reveal to Doctor Phil. What a sanctimonious prick that guy is hey... but then... that's entertainment too.HugsStalky

Hey I'm a big fan of Dr Phil. Simply for his "Get Real" approach ! He's direct and to the point. I'm sure most people on here understand the difference. Seriously.... I give a little more credit to the intellect of the sexy RHP cohort. They know the difference, the forums are fun. Sometimes we all just want some advice from the group who have "been there, done that" rather than of the professional sort. Dr Phil may rule but sometimes Slutty Suzy is more valued ! People on here are a huge range of ages and life experience. There is also a very diverse range of occupations. Collectively our knowledge would far outweigh that of Doctor Phil and his entire team of research assistants. We all put our two cents worth in and eventually someone will hit upon the right answer. Providing there is one. Someone else on here has been there and done that already and happy to share what they know. If I have a problem I will discuss it with a friend or family member first and I guess the somewhat anonymous atmosphere here in the sandpit lends credence to the idea that things can be discussed in semi confidence.

Could be too that there are actually some people here that behind the screen and the scenes played out here might just a few degree, accreditations and certifications. I think there are a few and if they offer any sort of "real" advice it is well tempered and most often shows good judgement. And too, I doubt at times if anyone really reads it or sometimes it's just not one of those "look at me" things. Oh well, you can say it or spray it or both...but please, just aim it. | I never watch Dr. Phil...he's on at the same time as Nigella Lawson. Not a hope in hell that I would not rather learn to eat with my fingers than watch some of the trumped up guests. "Help me, Dr. Phil...my grandparents and my parents are all gay..am I going to be a gay too". Think about it...the gene pool might be a bit recessive and probably had a bit too much chlorine in it. | Just because I am a low life sex manic does not mean than I can't be an educated one... | ....does it?

Think your right Stalky.... Dr. Phil has done a lot to help certain communities far and wide. I am sure he has kept a lot of folks that live in tralier parks in the Ozarks off the unemployment lines and does love doing the onsite interviews on "trash" day. | Hey...how did you know that's how they elect the Mayor of Jackson, Mississippi? Missing teeth are "absentee ballots", teeth still there are each a "regular voite" and half-teeth are considered to be the "prefence votes". Just checked... the Mayor needs to have pearly whites to lead the Klan on a moonlit night and any woman with no teeth is counted twice as a "swing voter". | Time for Howard Stern. sometimes i think its easier to ask the those in the sandpit than ask your normal friends if i went and asked my friends and family if they would like a strap on up the arse they would be horrified...ohh thats right i did and they were, what a NYE that was....lol plus on here people are neutral so they mostly give and unbiast opinion which is what you need sometimes roxxy
