So many genital pics is it rude to send back suspicions of the type of health issue they seem to have?

February 16 2010

Reposting in this section - as I posted in a different section by mistake... (moderator people delete the other one please?)Just wanted to check etiquette on this. With so many people (mainly men) shoving their bits and pieces in virtually in your face, through the use of close up pictures, is it rude to write back some concerns you may have about their health even if from the looks of it- it is a non-transmittable issue? Now I'm not a doctor so one cannot offer a diagnosis etc, more a you may want to ask your doctor about blah as from the image you seem to have the visible symptoms of "such and such". Knowing about STI's an other such regional health effects is part of my day to day job so I can recognise the signs of most fairly readily.I guess when you come across someone's gallery and think hold on that doesn't look right and double check in your book and NSU or balanitis seem likely suspects - should you tell them or just move along swiftly?

if it was me, I may have send a quick reply with a link and a "maybe you should get that checked out"... Heaps of people have STI's and other things and never know.  Many people think if they get the standard sti test from the doctor that everything is checked, including hsv and hov, but those things aren't checked at all.  I'm a fan of full disclosure and knowledge about what's going on with my body. What's the worse they can do, tell you to fuck off?

I get checked every other month Wam at the clinic, for free but every time it's the same procedure... What I want to know is, what's with the rubber gloves, the watersports, anal swabs, the genital play, the blood tests, the cold spoon, and the kitchen tongs? Hugs Stalky

Polar_Bear_Girl - you have to insist very strongly to get the full tests done every time as if they consider you in a lower risk category they try ad skip some they think you are unlikely to haveSexycountrycpl - many of the different tests are not covered by Medicare, so then you are out of pocket. if you go to a sexual health clinic however you are not charged for anything and can even attend anonymously.Jean - no online assessment is the equivalent of visiting your local health professional.Stalky - me too on the testing, and i insist on full blood tests even when they say its not necessary - i got all my hep vaccinations too! Your first descriptions seem like a standard male test but not so sure about the last  - what do they do you withthe cold spoon? I reckon the tongs are similar in function to tweezers mate :P
