Sharing RHP success stories

August 12 2014

The RHP success stories or testimonials that pop up on the home page is a wonder/enigma to me. I dont really read it, understand the purpose of them, nor have any desire to hear about other people's successful bonk (specially if I am not getting any!!! ) In my opinion, it is for bragging rights that like " FINALLY, I got a root!". For example a typical one goes like this : ms ABC had a sexual meet with mr. XYZ it was hot and heavy and went all night long, fulfilled her every fantasy. Then not long after, you get a short testimonial from mr. XYZ that Ms. ABC is fantastic hot chic and "the best root eva!". That's it. No dirty lowdown details that we may be of interest nor educational value (is it ever?) to us. So quite boring in my opinion. Porn writing 101... no postman ringing twice... Lol,. My questions are (drum roll please) 1) Do any of you really read these testimonials or success stories and how important are they to you in the scheme of things in your play/search in rhp? Why? 2) Do you find the success stories sexy? ARe they meant to be sexy? are they meant to make you jealous or remind you how unattractive or far down you are in the ladder of attractiveness since you havent had a root in ages? 3) Will all/any of the mutual admiration comments want you to check out any of the parties for the next hook up (hoping the women have nympho tendencies and men are just plain horny, as per usual suspects. lol) or are they a turn off for you? Your turn to bat people!!!

I think they are a relic from RHP copying the other dating sites like RSVP, like the concept of the flirts. Except "I found the perfect partner" doesn't translate well to "I found the perfect root". I normally don't read them unless it is someone I recognise from the forum and then I stickybeak. I didn't realise until recently that RHP just recycles old testimonials which the authors are probably mortified are still kicking around years later.

I have only ever written one success story, when we first became members and I didn't know about validations (and I have only ever written one of those too) 1) Do any of you really read these testimonials or success stories and how important are they to you in the scheme of things in your play/search in rhp? Why? I don't use them to make any decisions on here, it's hard enough sifting through the couples that aren't couples, the perves who just want your photos etc. It's another tool for promotion for RHP - and why not that's what they are 'selling'. 2) Do you find the success stories sexy? ARe they meant to be sexy? are they meant to make you jealous or remind you how unattractive or far down you are in the ladder of attractiveness since you havent had a root in ages? They are not sexy to me, it is no indication of unattractiveness either. We are struggling to find what we are looking for, with no real feedback from couples as to why 'they are not interested.' The sexy stories don't make me think 'I'm a loser'. I take them for what a lot of this site is for us - part truths, part lies, blatant self-promotion etc. etc. 3) Will all/any of the mutual admiration comments want you to check out any of the parties for the next hook up (hoping the women have nympho tendencies and men are just plain horny, as per usual suspects. lol) or are they a turn off for you? A definite no from us - I like people to know the real me as much as possible. Other than keeping my identity covered on the site, though open in our PG, you see the real me, my name is Mary, in real life too! I live in a small town so try to protect my privacy in a number of ways. I'd like to know the 'real' them as much as possible. I really try to get to know someone beyond their photos. When we go to parties, my policy is have safe fun, I look for a connection to happen in a short amount of time, and as much as I may want to hook up with people whose photos/profiles are sexy - they have to want the same thing. Now that's the challenge!!!! We don't go to parties to hook up with specific people and don't have any expectations that "we may hook up with that hottie" because sadly we will be disappointed. Mary xx

thanks for the historical background. Nothing like digging up the past and thenfinding the testimonials still floating around after one has checked into their nursing home... Quelle horreur!!! Lol,

had the occasional flick through them like SN said, if I recognise a name but it is a bit like reading 50 Shades of Grey, very repetitive and ends up sounding like a romance novel where everything is perfect!

I'd rather look forward than peer over the fence at someone else's backyard. Though I would read one concerning a certain Forum Poster & a Butt Plug.

Yeah I like reading them, when I was a newbie here they did give me hope that I could find what I was looking for here. Since then I have found more than I bargained for (in a good way!) and I've recently written my own success story for the site which I felt like doing as a show of support considering I've never paid RHP one red penny. And yeah probably because I felt like boasting a little too :)

I had to have a quiet chuckle to myself about your intro to your piece. You start off with "I don't really read them...." then go on to give a little story about how the testimonials read - umm ? I think I may have read one or two of these supposed testimonials when I first joined up many years ago, but I quickly came to the conclusion they sounded more like adverts for RHP to try and sucker in more members, sorta trying to impress one and all guaranteed roots for the masses. After that I haven't bothered with them - never seen a story headlined about anyone I knew or came across on site, so my suspicions are generally in place about those 'testimonials'. If they happen to be real, then good luck to 'em, but they don't influence me one bit. Tall

I totally ignore them it's pretty much to drum up more membership by showing how successful the site is.

I read one that clearly alluded to a friend's username. My friend wasn't too impressed and I agreed with it being rather tacky. Since then I've noticed this testimonial still pops up on my homepage from time to time, as recent as about months ago I don't read testimonials, but don't mind them when their anonymous and recent. I someone wrote one about me however, I'd ask for it to be removed. As for validations: I just wrote one for Stir..

Quoting 'Tall_n_Hard' I had to have a quiet chuckle to myself about your intro to your piece. You start off with "I don't really read them...." then go on to give a little story about how the testimonials read - umm ? Hello Tall. Haha. Forgot to qualify that to say that when I first joined RHP a half a year ago, I noticed the success stories and testimonials on my homepage. Curious, I clicked on the page and voila... much of the same muchness on the same stuff, different people... Felt like they were selling RHP and self-promo there as somebody mentionsed earlier...Since then really have not read it. Haha. but thanks for the pick up.

We wrote one to thanks RHP. We won't put intimate details of our success. The fact that RHP offers date search is a feature that makes it different. Mind you if you post in forums or write testimonials it may be visible in google search to non-members. I think forums can also be read without logging to site.

Thanks RHP....I've been involved with RHP for 4 years and was getting really down on myself as I hadn't much luck... Until... I met a strapping young lady that just rocked my world from the get go....she was sexy in her messages, her voice, and her demeanour.... Then we got naked. The room was ablaze with passion...her body twitching and bucking a little as I eased into her nicely toned, tight arse. That's when I noticed it appeared I'd gone in so deep I came out the other side!!!! Unfortunately not; it was just her dick was bigger than mine..... So thanks again RHP!!! Thanks a fucking LOT!!!!! - Posted from rhpmobile
