i think the best kind of sex is a competition. we egg each other on to new things, challenging each other to top the last thing... i'm very competitive in sports, and i'd probably be lying if i said, just sometimes, i wasn't treating sex a little competitively to see how far we'll go... but it's friendly competition! i have no interest in "i'm hotter than you" or "i need more attention than you" - yech. just like sport, competition is much more fun with a cheeky grin than a jealous scowl. and it's nice to kick back from competition other times and relax into a one-team sport instead :)

I think of it as more of a game than competition. Like Tennis for example. Sometime you play to win, sometimes for fun and mostly for love (women prefer love-all games). my friend and i have discussed the 3some and swinging idea several times. we're fairly comfortable of not being jealous at this stage which is good, but we both still have reservations on it.the relevance to this post is the competition... my mind and self esteem start putting the thought of an MMF to somewhat of a competition, thoughts of, "what if he's better looking and better at it", "what if he's bigger", "what if i get worked up n shoot a load too quickly" etc etcstaying on topic, otherwise it's never been a comp for me and mates etc etc... an ex and her friends, yea, quantity topping is definitely a competition, as is boyfrend stealing lol.i hope the overwhelming replies to the OP are no it's not a competition, i don't do sports and i'm only competitive at air hockey and wii bowling ;)

In my original contribution to this thread the way we play got called a few names, exagerations and even things made up. ...pretty naughty arent they! I can't believe I am making this analogy, but on Guitar Hero, two people can play head to head in competitive mode, or together in cooperative mode. Now does cooperative just sound better? Been in chat rooms occasionally with 100 odd people, just find them random chat with no subject, take it out of the forums then you are told not to message, and are told whats started in the forums stays in the forums. The rule book changes often , Dont you think? One forum member said if you are not prepared to say it to the person in real life. Dont say it. Like that and quite often think that before the post button is hit. excellent advise. for example none of our posts ever contain swear words because we dont swear in normal life ..well maybe the odd one! but not routine. a few years back I used to frequent a site called paltalk. this site catered for both voice/cam and text chat. some of the rooms were "insult' rooms. i never understood the need for this. its degrading and humiliating. the forums here feel a bit like they did. we are supposed to be able to share ideas and opinions without being ridiculed for them. to me, that's the 'adult' way of things. seems though, that we have those same people here, who, instead of joining in and becoming part of the discussion, prefer to heckle and ridicule and really contribute nothing, other than 'stirring the pot' and causing upset. I know that not everyone agrees with the ideas, thoughts and opinions that I personally have posted, nor I with theirs, but that's the beauty of being both adult and individual, we don't have to agree. Though the arguments that sometimes occur in these forums do get emotional and passionate, there is never a need for name calling, accusation, threats or ridicule (yea I'm not innocent) and there's certainly no need for stalking those we don't agree with, from room to room or post to post.
