Same sex fusiness??

December 29 2010

sex

I have been having an interesting discussion with my storeman today at work (yes it is quiet and very boring here today..need to entertain ourselves somehow) and the topic of sexual partners and how fussy a person is came up...well regarding me anyway (come on he openly told me he isnt that fussy really)... I was telling him that I am much more fussy choosing my female partners than my male ones...so it has me thinking are other people the same??? When it comes to choosing a same sex partner do you find yourself scruitinising them more than you do someone of the opposite sex?? Kisses Focus

Well when it comes to the same sex for me it is in a threesome. Yes I am much more picky about the guy in the threesome than the women. I find that I like most of the women almost right off the bat. The guys though I am much more picky…

MrsS - see for me at parties I have alot more difficulty finding myself attracted to the women than the men...dont know why really...I guess for me I find sex with females is more intimate than males (and I dont just mean physically but on all levels) Tassie_Rose - damn does this mean I really am not in with a chance??? Sigh...off to find the chocolate box to drown my sorrows LC - I'm not alone...any ideas why this might be for yourself??? Kisses Focus

Quoting 'focusliason' LC - I'm not alone...any ideas why this might be for yourself??? Kisses Focus Yes...I am very fussy when it comes to same sex being involved. I really hate hairy people back hair just look well ugly to me. The guy has to have appeal to me I really do need to like them. I don't so much have a checklist but the hairy guy thing is just an instant no to me. I am just picky when it comes to involving another guy. LC

Of course they need to appeal to you all partners do just wondering why we (as in you and myself) seem to be fussier when it comes to same sex partners than opposites sex partners...and I definately understand that back hair thing...sometimes I just want to get the wax strips out and get rid of it...lol... focus, It is a difficult question to answer perhaps we just apply higher standards, perhaps it is because we are not as comfortable with the same sex. I think that is part of the basis for it to some degree we set a higher standard since we are more inclined to a hetro orientation, it needs to be something special to tweak our interests. If I am going to get into a bed a with a guy I need to be perfectly at ease with him. I dont need the same comfort level with a women. Hope that makes sense... LC

Quoting 'Meeka100' Do you all have a certain type you go for? Or are there certain things you look for in a same sex partner? xx Meeka No that I recognise anyway in either men or women I just seem to take more time choosing a female partner than a male one...even in a party environment...no idea really just curious to know if others apart from LC and myself a=have noticed the same about themselves Kisses Focus

Focus, this is something I have put a lot of thought into over the years. I see sexuality as percentages. Some people are 100% gay, some are 100% straight, some are 50/50. In my case I think I am about 80% straight and 20% gay. Where I would be attracted to 3 in 50 men, I might be attracted to 3 in 500 women. Not many women have that 'certain something' that gets my attention, but when I see one that does, my imagination goes into overdrive...

Since I have had my boobs on display I have noticed that I have recieved lots more emails from couples - that is the female counterpart who like my boobs. Does that mean that ladies like bigger boobs as much as the men?? I still don't see the appeal myself. xxx Meeka (PS - have hidden them away for now as I am sick of looking at them)

LC and TR - you are both right we should only ever settle for the best.... Irresponsibility - you could have a point there...it really does depend on 'how much' you see yourself or feel yourself as being attracted to the same sex. I have known since a young age that I was attracted to both men and women but have also always known that I was more fussy with the women I have chosen as my partner. Kisses Focus

I think that for me, that has something to do with my preferences with friends too. I've always got along better with men than with women. No, actually not better, but easier. With the opposite sex, you have that built-in male-female chemistry. For me personally, I don't rely on that with other women. I'd be curious to see what a lesbian would think of this notion, because I imagine my logic would fall apart at the seams from their standpoint. As always, interesting topic Focus.

Flirty - Interesting thought..I too find it easier to communicate with men (mind you I have always worked in male dominated industries) and have often found myself communicating much easier with men than women...hmmm...food for thought... Tassie_Rose - on my way choclate AND icecream in hand.... Kisses Focus

So to speak. There's many factors when it comes to attraction. Too many factors over complicates the issue. Desire can simplify some descrepencies, outright lust overides them alltogether if you let it. Reasons, are by definition, the very things that stop you having stuff. Be fussy, we all gotta be something, Hey? Sound reasonable?
