Why are women so inclined to give backhanded compliments? You know, those "nice" comments that are totally bitchy and go right over men's heads. Like: "You look great, did you put on weight?" and "Your teeth are amazing, they must have cost a fortune" Women suck. ;-)

Why do some men act like fwits whenever they are on the piss with groups of their mates. Violence like king hits and verbally treating others (women in particular) with disrespect or the idiot on the train abusing the dark skinned security guard calling him ni$%er. ...women who have on their profile words to the effect of " I consider myself attractive and will only play with attractive men". Everyone has a different perception of attractive. Some of the guys who are my best friends would maybe not be considered attractive to these women but are the most beautiful people to me. Mind you, Im no Elle MacPherson, but I think it must dent guys egos. I see a lot of mens profiles where they say they are average in looks but are actually very good looking. And yes, Ralf, a couple of men I have chatted to say that with some women, one of the first questions is "How much do you earn?" Money doesnt guarantee happiness.

Why is it when i read guys/woman's posts about honesty, respect, manners etc it's nearly always related to swinging, group sex etc.. I mean , are manners directly proportionate to the amount of clothes a person is wearing at the time? I hate it when a guy or a woman says "grow some balls"........doesn't make any sense at all. my biggest "pet peeve" with most women, is how special they think they are (or become) when pregnant or once they've have a child. It's largely society's fault, as even in this day and age, a woman's value typically rests on her ability to breed, however, women don't help matters, we buy into that idea ourselves, few of us ever learn (or are forced to learn) to think past our social conditioning. I don't like that 99% of women are blissfully ignorant. In the words of most of the men I grew up around: "They'd be stacked ten deep at the tip if they didn't have a pussy and couldn't have babies." In these PC times it is very hard for a guy to pay compliments, for fear of being "bashed or rejected" for it. I miss the days of the "wolf whistle" I think a lot of ladies enjoyed the attention and guys showed appreciation of a pretty lady without being filthy. It wasn't enough to have people bashing the opposite sex, so I'll start a thread and encourage people to bash their own sex :// what a thoughtful thing to do! Here's something that really grinds my gears about BOTH (and all) genders! People putting their focus on other peoples actions without opening their mind to the CAUSE behind them!! There is ALWAYS a cause that leads to an action, and if you care enough to go looking for it, you might find yourself viewing people in a whole new light! That gold digging girl (for one example) COULD have been brought up in a world without money, a world she was consistently bullied in for not having the best of anything, a world where she was repeatedly told by the people who mattered most to her that she was nothing, where her basic needs weren't even met. And MAYBE she managed to transform herself somewhere along the line and never wishes to return to the way things were before. MAYBE it's more about the security than the money itself! And MAYBE the 'gold diggers' that chase older, unattractive men do so for the feeling of 'safety' they can't find with another! If you don't like someone based on their actions, fine! Leave them be! If you do like someone who does or says something you don't agree with, perhaps you should look a little deeper before gossiping behind their back and deeming them a bad person! I could go on and on and on about 'cause' but really, only the people who are truly tuned into themselves will understand and agree with what I'm saying here, the rest will take offense.... I totally get what your saying. If you dont have anything nice to say you dont say anything' right ? Thats fine , but you cant lose sight of what you said in regards to why people are the way they are, where they came from , what sort of life they lived..etc .. but it is fair to say we can only respond to what we perceive the person is trying to say , which sometimes we get wrong..Being bought up in a very Aussie culture where quite alot of what we say is said very much with tongue in cheek can land us in trouble. Unless you understand this , it could very well be taken it the wrong way. I know for a fact, there are forum regulars who do exactly that and become very defensive in their attitude. So it really does get back to a persons perception of what is being said.. I find saying nothing at all stifling , just have to remember to pull back when you know what your about to say is wrong... such is life.. ?

I understand what you're saying, but I feel it's irrelevant to what I've actually said and find it difficult to respond as a result. No, I'm not saying "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". I'm no stranger to putting people in their place if I should feel so inclined (hard to believe I know :P) but I'm a big believer in taking your issue straight to the person in question and sorting it out the old fashioned way! TALKING and LISTENING - not just bashing someone you simply don't understand behind their back (cos that's all this thread is really about)! Again, I understand what you're saying in regards to 'taking things the wrong way' especially on a RHP forum but I'm not sure how that's relevant to what I've said... Perhaps I should attempt to simplify things a little.... If you're out in the 'real world' and someone's behaviour is "irritating the crap out of you", like (again) a gold diggers behaviour for example, why not ask them what's up with that? WHY the interest in someone's money? Instead of just labelling them a 'gold digger' and being pissed off behind their back. The answers can be expanding to even the smallest of minds. Of course I'm merely using the 'gold digger' label as an example, but the method here applies to all 'gripes' on this thread. My biggest point was there should be zero room in an ADULT forum to ENCOURAGE people of any sex to bash each other! Seriously, that's what teenagers do on Facebook! Let's not confuse the issue hey ://
